The little red dial on the very top of the insert, the one that shows 1-5 and has a little adjuster that rotates with a standard screw driver. Pull this out. I used a small pliers and gently grabbed it and pulled it out, do not grab the little thing that you turn to adjust, but the whole thing. But be carefull not to crush it. You must have put them in (came in a really little black plastic box with a clear top), because they don't come from Tokico with them installed. Pull it off and see if the inside is hex shaped, if it is, then use a allen wrench to keep it (the strut rod) from spinning while tightening the nut. EDIT: If you have them torqued down to 50ftlbs. then you will be fine. !M!

I think I speak for everyone when I say, we are waiting for that post from you that says it's back on the ground and rolling onto the trailer for the new engine. GOOD LUCK! You can get it done in time. !M!

Damn, I must have done something right, they are all waving at me Huba huba! !M! -
For some reason, I just can't see McRae racing in NASCAR. Imagine how boring it would be if he had an in-car camera, like he has in his WRC car for NASCAR. !M!

Here's something a little more tame in comparison. This bike was at Hals right down the road here for Harleys 100th. The pictures are huge, sorry. !M! -
If it is what you think it is... you lucky son of a . Here is a picture of a open carrier, you can see the spider gears Here is a picture of the clutch type carrier found in the '87-'89 300ZX Turbo !M!

Owen, I'll check it out for you in the next day or two and post about it here. !M!

I don't know about if it's legal in Cali, but I heard about that spray stuff a while ago. I thought it was fake untill I heard it on Paul Harvey's news and comment. I guess it works, but I would have to see it to believe it. I still like the idea of sending a picture of the cash you owe if you get caught with the photo radar. !M!

Owen, If you need any measurements, or want me to check them out for you, I live 2 minutes away from Pegasus. Very nice people there that have helped me with my Z a few times. !M!

Man, what kind of crap is that . People were being interviewed at Vetrans park, and many were hoping for U2 or the Stones. John, I'm not sure if you found this web site yet, but it's called Brew City Muscle. It's for guys like us around Milwaukee. They are talking about the wild stuff down on Water Street, soooo much fun I know you can't go down there yet, but you can read about it! click here Also, if anybody wants to see pictures of the OCC bikes taken at Hals, click here You can see the Snap On bike. I personaly don't think the Snap On bike is that cool. The way Paul Jr. and Sr. were talking about it, I was hoping for more actually. !M!

That's like a funky go-kart, kinda... I like it! Hey, isn't that the car that Columbo drove around? !M!

Hey I was looking for more pictures of that Z, thanks for sharing. It was for sale a while ago on Ebay and I think it was posted on here also. One of the pictures in his Ebay ad was of him purging the N20. !M!

Hey Guy A.K.A. HybridZ Master 8) , Harley Davidson is only 100 years old once, so come on down! John, I just saw some bikers with liscense plates from Australia . I feel bad for all these people that are here camping out. We have some pretty nasty weather moving in tonight. !M!

Holy crap! Alright, the last Harley get together was pretty big, but this is UNREAL! There is seriously more bikes on the road than there is cars. I live about a mile from Hals Harley Davidson and the bikes are everywhere. Harleys with liscense plates from Japan and Britain? Never seen that before. There is traffic updates on the radio telling people where packs of hundreds of Harleys are riding to avoid breaking up thier pack, it's crazy. The Tuttles (sp?) A.K.A. OCC Crew was on a local radio station saying that they are taping for thier next season airing in January. A Snap On bike was built for this (Harleys 100th) and is being unveiled tommorow at Hals. Paul Sr. and Paul Jr. said the bike is made entirely out of Snap On tools. I guess Jesse James is here too, but nobodys heard from him yet. I'm at a loss for words... this is the COOLEST thing I have ever seen... so many people... so many bikes... There is a big gig that is playing on Sunday for Harleys 100th, but nobody knows who is going to play on stage. Well, my unvle is very good friends with a guy that works on the planning commitee or something for Harley. My uncle wanted to know who Harley is going to have show up for this event. This is how my uncle told me the conversation went: My Uncle: "So, who's playing Harley?" Other guy: "Sorry I can't tell you" My uncle: "So, can you give me a hint?" Other guy: "Nope. I can't tell you." My uncle: "I heard that U2 was going to play, is it?" Other guy: "I told you I can't tell you" My uncle: "Is it the guy that wears the wierd glasses, what's his face..." Other guy: "Elton John. And Look I told you I can't tell you" My uncle: "Are the Stones coming?" Other guy: just looks at my uncle and smiles I don't know if he was just trying to throw my uncle off or what, but I think the Stones are coming to rock Milwaukee! Guys, if you live near Milwaukee, come check this event out, there are parties EVERYWHERE! This is going to be one hell of a weekend !M!

I just have to tell you, my buddy and I went flying the other day. He is a very smart guy that gets caught up in pondering technical things while he should be thinking of what he should do next, I on the other hand think about those thechnical things while accomplishing other tasks quite well. So in other words I don't get my mind stuck (sometimes ) . Well, we went flying quite a bit just him and I because we share the same passion, aircraft. He says that sometimes it can get boring, but I feel it can never get boring! The last time we went up there were at the most 4 aircraft trying to land at the same time and with another two eyes it made spoting the other aircraft a heck of a lot easier. It was so much fun finding these guys and calling them out! "I got a guy on your 6" or "I just saw another guy on the trees on your 2"... it was like calling out a FS video game but real life. We were up for 1.2 hours and considering that we were paying 100/hour for this plane, and we still had make a few touch and go's and then land, we should really land this thing! Well, the touch and go's went well execpt for a Hawk that almost smashed the plane at about 200 feet up while taking our final (seriously, the bird was about 10 feet from hitting the wind shield). On our final to land, I decided to watch how my buddy controlled the aircraft while landing. We came in and about 15 feet off the runway the aircraft "balooned" without my buddy touching the controls and went up another 10 or so feet, so I watched my buddy correct and give her some gas, and try to land again, but this happens again! I then ask why is the plane rising without you giving any input? He told me to shut up and we went to land again (third time in one landing) and the aircraft came down nice and soft like always. The ATC then comes on the horn, calls out my buddies aircraft and says, "3SP, you were only cleared for one landing." Imediately, I bust out laughing. He had no idea why I was laughing... I had to explain to him that the tower was making fun of him. After we came to a full stop, he finally got what happened and replied to the tower, "Tower, that's not very funny", to which there was a reply of, "(TOWER: laughing in the background)" It was the best time I had flying yet. I will be getting my pilots liscense soon, very soon. I need to, it's been a childhood dream of mine. !M!

my CCW's just came!!!!!!!!!!!!!
CruxGNZ replied to a topic in Brakes, Wheels, Suspension and Chassis
You know, the novelty of those wheels will only last so long. You will have to tell the CCW’s that there is only room for one and it cannot be an inanimate object. I mean, think of the kids! Awsome wheels! !M! -
Terry, was being an ATC anything like in the movie "Pushing Tin" !M!

I have to know... how much do these CCW wheels go for? I can't remember, but when I was pricing out custom wheels for my Z I think I contacted CCW and was told that they were $550 each? !M!

CruxGNZ replied to a topic in 6 Cylinder Z Forums
Correct me if I'm wrong guys, but wasn't the L series engine designed by Mercedes? !M! -
That is fricken halarious! Please tell me that is a guys car. If it's not, I give credit to the chick that says her's doesn't make noise or smell for that matter . My monitor sucks, but does that say "Baby Hearse" by the third tail light? !M!
