I just checked my fiber glass fenders and there is no notches cut in them... well except for the wheel openings FYI, mine are made by Perfect Plastics Inc.. Maybe the previous owner cut notches out to run side pipes? !M!

Well, 8 second or better quarter mile time isn't out of the question. Look at Ron Jones, or wait, was it Jap tin with the n/a SBC powered Z turning 8 second quarter mile times. Granted the tube frame chassis in the Z car weighs a bit less than the Vette, but I think it's still possible. 15:1 compression, no less than C16 fuel? That's got to get pretty expensive for a street car, but then again look at the miles he has on it so far. !M!

I have to agree with the Ferrari V12, they give me goose bumps when I hear one run in person. GN engine sounds pretty bad ass. A high reving V-8 is cool. But my personal best sounding engine is a Rolls Royce Merlin engine from a P-51 Mustang 8) . !M!

Whoa cool! Looks like somebody needs to get some sun . Ah, don't let those needles get to you. When I smash a finger so bad that the swelling hurts after a couple days, I just pull out the cordless screw gun and a 1/8" drill bit and relieve that pressure I just drill right through the nail . !M!

260ZRED, Pegasus has those same two mirrors for half that price. The spun alloy mirror (part # GT 300) is $54.99. The chrome plated mirror (part # GT 400) is $36.99 http://www.pegasusautoracing.com I personally like the GT 400 (your #2). Only if you could get it in matte black finish... !M!

I agree with everything, except the" I would wax his car with my tongue" comment, it might not taste as good as you think Trust me on this one (Yes beer was involved) . !M!

Excelent idea Terry! I actually do something similar. When people ask me to install drop ceilings, I use a laser level affixed to a camera tripod to make the wall channel straight and level around the room(s). Works awsome. !M!

Evil, yes that was the post. I tried looking for it and I got back as far as Oct. of 2002 but no luck. It seemed that "searching" wasn't doing any good, so I went post by post... I love DSL Soooo much better than 56k dial-up! Maybe somebody else remembers where it is. !M!
