  1. That sounds about right. Just be aware that it will hang a bit low in the car. Also search this site this has been covered over & over again. PRC seems to be the most popular brand.
  2. Was looking through the posts again, and I wanted to know how the Cable-X worked out for you? When I saw this a few years ago I thought it would be a good idea.
  3. You haven't posted in a bit. How's the build going?
  4. I've got a set of aluminum mounts that were made by Rick Wong, a while back. Realy nice pieces, all I need now is a motor to put them on to. LOL Found a pic. http://www.davestation.com/mounts.jpg
  5. Sorry a bit off topic, but..... Mike what happened to your site. Had a lot of great info on there, but I can't seem to access it. www.bluevista.net.au
  6. Why would you weld it in at all? Is this a full out drag car?
  7. That pan looks top notch. You definitely are going to my business. I should be placing an order with you end of next month. The best part is you just keep getting better & better each time you make one!!!
  8. Or you can buy some fiberglass bumpers from MSA, if you want to paint them anyway. http://www.thezstore.com/page/TZS/PROD/7BSA01/50-1750
  9. Check out 240z_master's site. http://gripjunkies.larrychendesign.com/rb/index.htm A lot of info on a 25 install, but most of the info will work on a 26 if you go that route. And it's got lots of pictures!!! LOL
  10. I was going to get an RB26 but like you I only want about 400Hp. And other that the bragging rights to "Godzilla" under your hood, the RB25 is a much better option. Money wise It will be between $1K & $1.5 less than a RB26 if your talking stock motors. And most guys change the 26 in to a single turbo. Anything more than 400Hp, and you need to get really serious about your chassis. Good Luck
  11. Excellent work on that swap. Nice & Clean!!! After seeing what you did in the engine compartment, I think you've added another "while I'm add it" to my list of "while I'm at it's" LOL
  12. A/C is a big concern for me too. Since my built will be a street/strip car(Mostly street). So I'd like to have A/C in it. That is one of the main reasons why I want to get a complete clip. I already have a A/C system from a 77 280Z, so it should be a simple matter of connecting the Skyline system to the donor A/C unit. Simple might not be the right word here, but I can dream can't I. LOL
  13. Was reading a few more of your posts. I should know in a month or 2 if my build is finally going to happen. Everything is going smooth right now. Aside from needing a new steering rack my car is good enough to drop a monster into. How much led time would you need?
  14. Looks like your on your way to be the go to guy for the RB pans. I hope you know what your in for, LOL. Can you do the pick-up also? If all goes well this time around I'll be needing you in the summer. PM me about a price for an RB25 pan & Pick-up.
  15. You don't need the MAF from the RB. There are other Nissan US spec cars you can get it from that are bigger.
  16. No doubt that your pans are HIGH quality, but $1300 US is a lot of change. That's half the price of a front clip. Any chance you'll be making a more budget orientated pan? Something simple, not designed for an all out race motor.
  17. I'd be interested in knowing if it's worth the coin. The Greddy one is a nice piece but at $1K plus, not sure if it's worth it.
  18. I've been wanting to cover my dash with leather or suede for a long time now. My dash is very badly cracked and as the years go by it gets bigger. How do you stabalize the original dash to keep it from reapearing after you've covered it?
  19. You might want to contact Modern Motorsports to see if they will sell you just the brackets.
  20. Have you tried to equalize the cable? If your tight on one side and loose on the other that may be your problem. The Z e-brake is one cable that connects at each end of your caliper, and a bracket in the middle that pulls both sides equally. As far as what bracket to get, I don't know. I'm using a conversion kit from MSA(reasonably priced). However I sourced my own 240SX S13 rear calipers @ $120 a piece loaded. http://www.thezstore.com/page/TZS/PROD/PBC12/24-5581
  21. I redid my system yesterday, and it seems to be working just fine now. I don't know if it was a good idea or not, but I removed the spring at the end of the cable. The spring is about an inch long fully compressed, and that was about how much more travel I needed to activate the E-Brake. Now I only have a slight bit of pre-load on the caliper.
  22. You have to be careful with quick parts searches. I you search for ACDELCO Part # 3612101, which is suppose to be the man rack for a 260-280Z you also get the same part # for your 82ZXT if you wanted to go manual.
  23. I was looking at what was left of my 25DET Elec Speedo, and there is a Mounting tab on one side to secure it to the tranny. Does the Navara/Frontier Speedo have this tab? If not how did you secure it to the tranny?
  24. I have the S13 240SX calipers on my car, and have been having the same issues with my E-Brake. I'm going to swap in a 79 master, and replace all the fluid. Hopefully this will resolve my issue. I think I will also try to put a spacer or washer between the cable bracket and the e-brake cable, to see if this gives me more throw. I have tried to tighten up the rod assembly, but I feel that it puts to much pre-load on the caliper. I'll be re-doing this tomorrow, so I'll let you all know how it works out.
  25. I was looking through your site and I didn't see it listed. Will you also have a pick up to go along with it?
