  1. BTW, I have this setup for sale here: http://forums.hybridz.org/showthread.php?t=131635
  2. It's horsepower at the wheels. I have no idea why it says flywheel power graph on top. The Dynapack software is funky like that, it will actually allow you to drastically alter the power number with that TCF number if you want to. We've had hundreds of cars on this dyno and it definitely measures power at the wheels. Brandon
  3. It was an R32 engine. I didn't find any other goodies on the engine which led me to believe that it was all stock. Even the clutch appeared to be a stocker. I had the turbos off and they had all the markings a set of stock turbos has. Either way, made some pretty impressive power for just 10psi! Brandon
  4. I was very surprised by the power it made. I believe the turbos are stock on this engine, I have no reason to believe otherwise. As far as the RPM goes, I actually rev it to 8K on the street I just decided to shut it off early on the dyno, the RB26 loves RPM! Brandon
  5. This was a baseline pull on the APEXi base map for my PowerFC. AFR's were leaner than I would like to see. Boost peaked and held at 10psi. Engine is a stock RB26 with a PowerFC D-Jetro and full exhaust. Brandon
  6. I'd imagine that the coils would be ok being that they are splitfires. Could be related to the VPro not getting the proper voltage. What's the gap on the plugs?
  7. Sounds nasty! As far as the ignition problem goes, what are you using for ignition coils? Brandon
  8. Stay away from these guys! I placed an order with them for an RB26 and a month went by with no engine, no contact, nothing. Luckily I was able to dispute the charges on the credit card. I would recommend talking to Racer98 on this forum. I have heard nothing but good things about the engines people have received from him. Brandon
  9. I'd be a little weary of the carbon fiber plenum bursting under boost. Looks gorgeous though! Brandon
  10. You will need more tire than that. Trust me. I have 225's on 8 inch wide wheels on the back of my Z with a stock RB26 and I have no traction in first or second gear under boost. Brandon
  11. That's some funny stuff right there!
  12. If you look at the thread i posted above it says that the VG flywheel works but to use the Z33 6 speed you have to have a custom flywheel. It appears that Mazworx is going to be making the flywheel.
  13. http://forums.freshalloy.com/showthread.php?t=182423 Looks like Mazworx is on it! Brandon
  14. Is the belt there? If so, try taking the belt off and spinning the alternator by hand to see if it is seized. Brandon
  15. You can get either in a T3 housing.
  16. I've got the same problem. There is no real solution except raising the car. My car had 14 inch wheels on it and the pan was only 2 inches from the ground. I put a set of 16's on it and got a little more clearance. You could raise the car back up but I refuse to as it looks too good slammed. Brandon
  17. If you're set on the Northstar, check this out. http://chrfab.com/
  18. I believe the Nismo slave cylinder is a larger bore than the stock one. It's used for clutches with a much stiffer pressure plate to keep the pedal from being really hard to push. Others refer to it as a Nismo big operating cylinder.
  19. I wonder if your clutch master cylinder is the same size as the US cars. My clutch disengages just a bit before the pedal hits the floor and that's with the rod adjusted all the way out. It's enough for full disengagement but I'd like it to be more in the middle of the pedal's travel. I bought a 7/8 master cylinder from Wilwood that should help out by moving more fluid. If your pivot ball is OK and you have no leaks in the hydraulic system, I would look into getting a larger clutch master cylinder. I believe the one I got was around 90usd. BTW, I wouldn't go shimming up the pivot ball, it could cause the throw out bearing to ride on the pressure plate constantly and wear it out prematurely. Brandon
  20. Did you check the pivot ball on the transmission?
  21. Don't the later model doors have a large beam in the door? You could try cutting it out to save a bit of weight. Brandon
  22. My buddy's procharged mustang has the exact same thing on it. It came with the supercharger kit.
  23. Your problem is the Bypass valve is designed to be open at idle. The spring in it is not the same as the blow off valves. You can get a stiffer spring from us for a couple of bucks, or just shim it a lot.
