Hawks Third Gen is better and locates engine in a better position. According to Hawks they made these to sell their headers. Texis has these in his 240Z. I have John's Cars mount in my 280Z with LS1 and T56. Comparing the two, I would say that Hawks is better. Just my opinion.

I've had a Cartech carb adapter back in 1979 on my 260Z that had the problematic Hitachi SU's. While the Holley 4 barrel (later Turbo Tom's kit) was way better than the Hitachis it doesn't hold a candle to FI. Using the Turbo Tom built engine, Megasquirt and Holset turbo, my 260 put 435 rwhp. Amazing performance. Go FI.

Having the same problem with an LS1 swap. We could not find the power drain, so I just installed a battery cut off behind the passenger seat. Now the issue is remembering to turn it of the off position when I park the car.

I was told that these no longer exist, oem or otherwise. Be interested if you find some.

I have Eden's brakes on my '78. He's pretty prompt and helpful, if a little disorganized. I see he has added other parts. Wish him the best.

I removed the gas gauge sender and sent to it Tristarr for repair. I got it back and installed the sender. I now get gas smell when I fill the tank. There was no "O" ring nor a gasket that I can recall for the locking washer. So, does anyone now if there is suppose be an o ring or gasket? I did not replace any gasket material or foam on the screw down plate. Also, what is proper clocking position of the sender. I should have marked the position before completely removing it.

Also, sellers often advertise the wheel will fit. I purchased some 17" with +25 offset and they hit the struts. Seller was no help and suggested I use spacers. So, try them on the car before putting tires on them.

I bought a couple of your Z32 trans adapters in the past. I have a newly acquired 280Z that I would like to try the new adapter in.

Just need 2 but willing to buy 4. For Datsun Z, of course. Thanks

YES, I read the announcement. Specifically, I was inquiring about the BUSINESS, not Ross. When an owner of a on going business passes away, it does not mean the business dies. The business has value and it would be a shame if the business did not survive the owner.

While we had my '83 turbo motor out, someone has lost the oil pump bolts. Anyone have the specs for these bolts. Be happy to buy them from anyone also. Thanks.
