  1. I had a guy that ordered them direct from China. He had them shipped to the office and installed them for other employees, friends, etc. I wondered if it affects these folks. These lights are blinding from either direction.
  2. I had a Schneider go flat. Ran it for 2 years. Replaced with an Isky.
  3. Don't know, I will check. What difference would it make? Thanks.
  4. Yes,you are correct. The parts were purchased by my nephew. Have any suggestions? This car is no fun to drive with this problem.
  5. I am having a real issue with the shifting in my '78 with LS1 and T56. When we received the JTR kit the trans mount was so poorly fabricated from JTR and it was completely unusable. So, we fab'ed our own. With the JTR front mounts and it is a very difficult to shift and you must use two hands to put in reverse. So, if there is LS1 install with the 6sp trans I would like to view it and maybe we can figure it out. Appreciate any response and I'll take the owner of the car to lunch. Thanks.
  6. I am having a issue with shifting (shifter.) We used the JTR kit but had to fab a new trans mount, because the JTR mount was not going to fit due to faulty fab'ing. Anyway, after installation, the transmission was very difficult to shift and impossible to put into reverse. We thought it was shifter so the eBay shifter was replaced a Hurst shifter. That didn't help much so we thought it maybe the used trans. I had it rebuilt but there has been no improvement. The shifter sits to the left in the shifter hole. First in other members cars, is the approx. location? Is this correct? Has anyone else had this problem? Thanks.
  7. I have both, '74 260Z with built L6 and '78 280z with a LS1. Different handling.
  8. The problem with this light, is if it is on tight enough to keep it from sliding, it gives you lightheadedness. At least the one I used.
  9. From what I have seen from muffler shops, I wouldn't have one fab'ed by one. Go to someone who does TIG welding.

  11. I'm interested. Where are you in Tx? Let me know how much. Thanks.
  12. Looking for an evaporator coil and housing for '78 Z. Don't know if other years are the same.
  13. You can do that with a L6. My L6 put out 423 rwhp with built motor/holset turbo/megasquirt.
  14. What are the wheel sizes/offset/back spacing? Looks good!
  15. You'll be glad you did this 5 years out. Good luck.
  16. Smokers who quit cold turkey are shown to have a higher rate of success than those who use patches, drugs, etc. So, good for you and good luck. The money you save can buy more Z parts.
  17. I wouldn't be impressed with the house since the garage looks like a typical 3 bedroom, 2 car garage, 1800 sq feet track home. Cars worth way more than the house.
  18. Sean, aren't you glad you didn't sell the car. Tom was continuously improving his kit. My kit was done in 1995 and looks like jwink25's. Give a PM and I'll check with our fabricator about welding cast.
  19. I got a kit, too. Tom was a great guy. Wonder, what he would be building now if he was still alive.
  20. Wow, BRAPP. You a minister or marriage counselor?
  21. I hope you are kidding about your marriage, because hardly anything material thing is worth breaking a marriage. Happy Birthday though.
