  1. yea got them from rota. im still measuring and researching what spacer is going to be needed. after looking over the back side of the wheel. it almost looks close to 5" of back space. still measuring everything over and over again. the problem is they when ill put the rubber on its going to hit my coilovers and not enough threads on studs
  2. these will need spacers and longer studs as well as tuner lug nuts i need to go out and measure whats needed. they are 15x8 with +04 offset
  3. good and bad news. awesome great looking wheels. i ordered the 15x8 and they clear my wilwood setup. these rims are super light.
  4. i just ordered rota rbs 15x8. going to throw my new yoko es100s on them 225/50/15 its 550 shipped for the rotas. ill have them on the car by friday hopefully

  7. its more of a parking brake, when was the last time u serviced your drums?
  8. after starting the car up after its build i found that i could not hold vacum. i had to pump the brakes to get brake and hissing came from the booster. really the boost guage told the story. anyway i went and ordered a rebuilt booster. autozone could not get me one bc they longer carried them so i went to a local place and they got me one. but it did not match up the size didnt really bother me but the 4 bolt on the back side that mount to the firewall did not match. my early 260 had a more retangle configure of the bolts. the small one had a square bolt pattern. so i sent it back and ordered a 260 one bc the one i got was a 75 supposably. but this one is bigger. maybe from a 2+2? can someone confirm this or what it is. the bolt pattern is correct. i cant put it in the car till this weekend bc im out of town at school.

  11. i have wilwoods superlite and they are under my 15x8 enkei mesh rims with 0 offset. what offset and and how wide or the draglites u looking at? o yea where in louisiana are u located. you know their is a zclub and website.

  13. the number 2 u have is a bearing. take the one off your datsun 5 speed. and place on your ka tranny. the number one u have in that pic needs to be boared out. the reason for that is bc the shaft can not go in such a small hole. i forgot the size of what it needs to be borded out to bc i did the swap long time ago. this is me trying to recall info after a couple coronas

  17. engine mods are. n42 block,maxima head that had some work,60mm tb,440 injectors,ms extra, electric fan,alum rad,lc1, msd, stock t3,intercool,arp bolts,alum flywheel,sx tranny, lsd, coil overs, willwoods on all 4 corners, enkei rims.... the list goes on
  18. its been a ordeal getting this thing running. its far from being tuned but it finally starts on its on. i got some quick videos. made with cell phone bc i was excited. and still have some tuning but HELL...lol sorry for the size.
  19. here is my reasoning on a gun. i recently moved out finally to start school again. i gave college a 2 year shot and that was not my thing. so i just started a tech college and im loving it. im getting certfied in collision repair. while in school i started a new job at a collision repair shop. im a bascially a apprentice to a painter at the shop. im having a blast doing this stuff. can be a little dirty and tireing but well worth it. im looking at getting a gun to do the z and a couple other things in the future. at work they have sata 3000 the HIGH dollar guns. BIG difference then crap guns they have at school. i was looking on ebay and they have a digital output read on the sata 3000? is that any better then the reg sata 3000? just wondering bc they have them for 400-500. also considering just finding a good gun in the lower price range but dont want a cheapo gun. just wondering what HVLP guns yall use and guns to look for?
  20. i have a proportioning valve on my z. i have wilwoods on all 4 corners of the z. since i went with wilwoods on the rear i got the front and rear for a really good price so i went with it, i could no longer use my parking brake. i plan in the future to fab up a parking brake mechanism(reasearching) the other option is line lock but from what i read the line lock will fade out over time bc its hydrolic and what not. by that i mean people have had where the line lock fails when its needed. anway the place where i put my proportiong valve was the stock place where the parking brake handle. i just made a bracket to mount the stock holes. its kinda funny bc i have the handle boot on the valve it kinda hides it and keeps u from seeing the tunned >_< i believe thats also where or close to the az car is. just my .02 cents
  21. haha nj phill mine just started today as well on jan 1st. one way to start the new year. i have the same problem as u do have to keep on the gas to keep her running but wow does it sound good to start.
