  2. Here is a pic of a 15x8in 4.5bs draglite with ground controls on my 240z...I have a 1/4in gap with the coil over adjustment lowered..p.s. 8.5 ET Drag...clears all around..If you have stock coils you will have to use .25 spacer..This is also fitting over the MM 240sx rear brakes..more pics in gallery http://album.hybridz.org/showphoto.php?photo=11306&cat=713
  3. I have installed this setup in two cars, both were so tight that the covers on the back of the cv kept coming off and had impressions of the axle in them...It might not have been as hard to get them in if we had pulled the spindle pins. I would say they had nearly no play at no squat position.. Both cars are v8 and one runs a 6 flat in the 1/8...no problems yet..Just my .02$ though..
  4. Just thought I would post a few pics for anyone interested in the miata pods before alterations...s30 car http://album.hybridz.org/showphoto.php?photo=11309&cat=714&ppuser=14949

  7. I just bought two....my friend has been using his for a few years with no problems, he is in the body shop biz...I guess if I welded for a living I would spend more....But all said I just had my lincoln helmet bite the dust and I dont like paying that kind of money for some thing that is almost a disposable product...it only lasted a year or so...That was a nice helmet garbaged...
  8. They are different all together...not a expert on pontiac though...
  9. Yes you should have primed with a etching primer first, but some primer surfacers can be used as both etching and surfacing...even though there is always a seperate one recommended by most paint comps....It comes down to how good of a primer you used...if it was like ppg's k-36...you prob will not see any problems...if you used the cheap stuff and it has been sitting for a while...that stuff is very porse and will let the humidity oxidize your steel through the primer..and could cause some adhesion problems in the future....Most people will tell you the way to go is a etching primer first, surfacer next, then a siller and then the top coats...All of these have a window to put them on after each other unless you sand before your next step...I would say it is for sure a gamble..sorry...hope this helps
