  4. Yeah, wonder if Ross knows what the statues under the glass are doing? lol chris
  5. Ah ♥♥♥♥, that thing's been on ebay before. Prob have to design your own mounts........wonder what it weighs........ chris
  6. I bought the Zed Findings and they are not only better looking, they are out of thicker material as well. Cost a little more though. I bought a welder too and I'm still under your quote on the job. Still got lots of work to do as well. Watchout for the "while I'm at it" bug. chris
  7. A lot of us like this one: http://www.millerwelds.com/products/mig/millermatic_175/ There are several good threads here on welding and selecting welders. A little search action might be in order. Hope this helps. chris
  8. Follow along in the JTR manual section on brakes where it is stated that the iron drums from the 510 supposedly work better than the alu Z car ones. I don't have my JTR at work but do remember reading this. Could the iron drums be a fix? Anybody experimented? chris
  9. times two! got mine here: http://store.weldersplus.com/mil907020.html chris
  10. Closest one so far but not the one I thought I saw. Thanks for the help guys, I'm still looking............ chris
  11. No, the one I'm thinking about isn't as dark as Austin's. Thanks. chris
  12. While searching for info on this site, I stumbled across a photo of a bright blue s30. Color looked close to "petty blue" of nascar fame, just brighter. The car might have had black zg flares as well. Anyone know who's car this is? I just searched 40 pages of users' galleries and all the hybrid Z photos. Anyone help? TIA chris
  13. I would consider myself lucky that I learned a lesson and only cost 25 bux. At least you got the spraygun. Lots of peeps spent a lot more to learn a lesson. I'm not saying don't ebay, just be real carefull. As Dr. said, screw it. Be carefull about feedback too. I would leave none because there is always the possibility of retalitory neg feedback. You sell on ebay, so you don't need to have to explain that to a prespective buyer. My .02 cents chris

    Tool Porn.

That is what I use to make car parts.......when I can get machine time! Where I work we have 10 Fadal verticals 30x16 up to 60x30. Also have 2 400 mm pallet load Kiwa horizontals. Several turning centers as well. They are all tools for production. chris
  15. Teekass, I'm a newb too but on the subject of long tube headers, see: http://forums.hybridz.org/showthread.php?t=116345&highlight=s%26s+headers I'm waiting for results. Don't know if your 2+2 makes a difference and aren't supposed to fit the 280, but a phonecall might be worth it. So far, this is my only hope to get long tube headers on my 260 with the JTR plates. HTH chris
  16. If you have to ask, maybe you shouldn't....... chris
  17. I was under the impression that the S2K was not only Honda's first RWD car, it was also the first to have an engine that went the "right" way......I could be mistaken. I do know all the FWD engines turn the "wrong" way. chris
  18. Pop, We must have the same unit. Mine is approx 15 years old. No problems with mine at all, carried it around by the handles full of water. Mine has also sucked up a lot of drywall dust as well. I haven't replaced the filter either, just clean it occasionally. chris
  19. Step back, chill, have a beer or whatever and regroup. Cake baking is not all it's cracked up to be! chris
  20. Yes, yes, and also a heavy crimp helps to get all that slow burning powder lit. Most large (44 up) handgun rounds use H110, Blue Dot, WW 296 etc. Consistant velocity and accuracy can be affected quite a bit by your crimping depth and process. Also remember autopistols will not tolerate quite as severe crimp an a round for a 6 gun or single shot. The use of magnum primers helps too. chris
  21. Same here! One thing, as with any "dangerous" hobby, only reload when you can contribute the time and concentration to complete the task. You can "batch process" your brass, IE, resize all or prime all or charge and seat bullet. Just don't stop in the middle of a process then pick it up later. Consistency in your friend for safe accurate ammo. Grumpy's progressive setup will eliminate a lot of my concerns and is a better (more expensive) way to go. chris
  22. Not only do we have gun nuts, aparantly some of them have read Elmer Keith! chris
  23. Second that! I'm just south of Greensboro (Asheboro) Lots of industry around looking for mechanically inclined people. You can buy a decent house in a subdivision for 100k, land is available, just depends on what you want. chris
