  1. Just give delta cams a call. Im pretty sure they can do those types of repairs. their service is usually affordable and quick.
  2. Your slave or master cyl is probably going bad. Has your clutch pedal felt strange at all?
  3. I realize this is a super basic question. What are the steps for finding the centerline of the car?
  4. crap, that sucks. I thought it had a yahoo addy in my favorites, but is shut down.
  5. Cool, I didnt know the splinter was getting set up with a northstar in that configuration. Im pretty sure you could do something similar with the Audi V8 motors, switching heads from side to side.

  9. Hello, whats you lowest on the tach & adaptor?

  10. Interesting, the oil system looks like an external sump to a stock style pump. Can you take some pics of the front of the car? It looks like it has a pretty interesting grill/foglight setup.
  11. He/she just wanted to be able to post in the classifieds guys. Give him/her a break.
  12. That shop is up the street from me. I dont think the owner would sell anything of poor quality. I havent personally used or seen the pans though.
  13. I picked up a 240sx this summer that had 'rod knock' that made the clutch feel funny.... or so that was the story I was told. The flywheel bolts had not been torqued down. The car has an SR in it, the knockoff aftermarket oil pan was leaking from the entire mounting flange due to a whole tube of silicone and the wrong length bolts being used. Battery relocated to the trunk with household wire (like they robbed a construction site) battery of course was not tied down. The blow off valve stopped working, it was situated in front of the left wheel, pointing upwards so it filled with water. About half the bolts on everything the kid touched were missing. some of the intercooler tubing was installed over other tubing to 'fill in' the gaps in the tubing ECU, Fuse block and other misc electrical components were not bolted down Rear glass was never glued in, suprise I found this out while cleaning the glass I was curious why the headlights looked like they went opposite high-low when switched from high to low.... the passenger side light was installed upside down. It had no fan, fan clutch, or shroud. The front cover had been installed after the headgasket causing it to fold the headgasket and making for a massive leak. P/S pump had been un-installed because the aftermarket line leaked really bad/had the wrong fitting.... the fitting was just installed backwards lol Im sure there is more, luckly I got a great deal on the car and its proving to be a great car once all the jankies have been sorted.
  14. the spacer and rotor bolt on the back of the hub, not the front. the rotor with the iron cross pattern cut out of it looks correct.
  15. yeah, they should look awesome! are they 16x7, or are they wider? I have some jeep grand cherokee wheels for winters on my 240sx
  16. mercury, the big sedan.... name is slipping my mind...
