  1. It makes sence to me, in theory. However everyone else is correct on the Z you bottom out the strut tube before you get ultra low.
  2. The guys at twinline are awesome! I went on a ride with them in summer of 07.
  3. ^^^^ that is why I said custom pistons. Well aware of the high compression ratio. Im not positive how the glow plug is setup on the LD, I dont believe the glow plug is directly in the chamber like a spark plug would be.
  4. Cool, my roomate got herself a 81 GS650e last spring. Its a blast to ride. It is chain drive, and has dual front disk brakes. Have fun with the project. Im building a street fighter right now and its a blast!
  5. Here ya go.... This is the guy that bought my old RB. http://www.northwestnissans.com/board/showthread.php?t=72179&highlight=brat+RB25
  6. I forgot you wouldnt have a place for the spark plug.... So you would still be stuck with having to bore a hole. I have a spare diesel head here. If I have time ill snap some pics.
  7. the 1.8t motor is standard style..... the new 2.0t is FSI (direct injection) You could just run the diesel head, with some custom pistons. They already are setup to do it too bad its cast iron.
  8. Oh this could be a fun thread. I think my cars have personalities sometimes. Maybe not 'soul' so to speak, but I enjoy the thought they could have personalities.
  9. The issue will be the angle of the shifter stick in the car IIRC.
  10. the dizzy on the FWD sticks straight off the back of the head, on a RWD setup it sits in a similar position to an L motor.
  11. I posted a link earlier in the thread to my SS autochrome header fitment on the RB25det. it wasnt great. but it was cheap lol
  12. HAHAHA thats exactly what I was thinking. Have a safe trip!
  13. Im trying to think of how I could help. I dont really have a way to tow it, and dont have time to work on it. Best of luck!
  14. they may be boyd coddingtons (sp) I think american racing made some like that as well.
  15. lol!!! a V-twin! nice bike, my friend has one
  16. the ZXT's all got R200s iirc. It will be the same ratio as your 75, so Id just scrap it
  17. They sell high pressure fuel line at most autoparts stores. Along with the clamps.
  18. Have you thought about a super motard? I havent ridden one yet, so I dont know how user friendly they are. Everyone who I have talked to loves them though.
  19. I had a FZ6, and really really enjoyed it. I assume you want something newer/EFI correct? My roomate picked up an old Suzuki GS650 and has been getting around 50mpg on it. Its quick (50hp) and a neat old bike. Its 1981 I believe. though it is carbed, it has been dead nuts reliable.
  20. I dont know if its old enough..... Datsun F10
