  1. Audi used a larger version of that throttle body on thier 5 cyl cars. If you get the one from a 20v you get a TPS mounting area. Later on, they used a way larger version (45mm/60mm maybe) on thier V8 engines.
  2. I got a cool old honda scooter. Still working on getting paper work for it and it restored. Just remember most of the 50cc and under scooters will maybe get 35-40mph, if that is within your means of commuting I say go for it. If I lived in the same city as my work, I would be scooter commuting for sure. Also, if you stick with something under 50cc, you may not need to get a motorcycle endorcement. Something used with a little milage on it is always going to be cheaper than buying new, and if you are trying to save money, the initial investment is a good place to start. Here is a pic of the honda, its a 64 ish C110, or cub sport, or cub 50, whichever you feel like calling it It makes 5hp @ 9000 rpm according to the manual. Its gas tank was off in this picture.
  3. Id like to find a set of brembo rotors too, already got rears infact. I dont think they are available for the front. watching this thread
  4. Its going to be wierd turning that thing with a square rear tire on it!
  5. wow, thats a great idea for people who have the will but not the $$$ to have expencive machinery!
  6. I think thats rad! id keep it just the way it is.... minus the murial on the hood
  7. the chrysler turbo had a different mounting flange on the exhaust side, its a wierd offset pattern. Plus the A/R's are small for an L motor. The stock ZXT one pictured is missing its wastgate actuator, and down pipe
  8. Here was my experience with a SSAC header for the RB. RB is gone now, and a L28ET is going in my car. If the fitment is better, I would really be interested in the header. If I have to do this much work again.... maybe not so much http://forums.hybridz.org/showthread.php?t=112664
  9. very cool, there are a few 810 owners around. I myself have been trying to find one in decent condition.
  10. Sparks, have you guys had any issues with natural rubber seals/hoses? This is an issue ive heard from hanging with the VW diesel crowd. (my daily is an Audi 4000 diesel)
  11. Just search for LD28, there have been a few threads about swapping them, and general information. There is a nissan diesel forum, im sure someone will post the link to, I never have it in my favorites.
  12. The diesel injection system is completely mechanical, no need for a computer.
  13. depending on what they want for the diesel fuel distribution pump, I would be interested in having a spare. I might also be interested in the injectors if they dont charge alot for those. If the pump is under $50 id be up for it. If the injectors are under $5 each Id be up for it. The injectors are actually bolted on the passenger side of the head, the pump is driven off the front pully and will end up getting pulled before you pull the crank. dont forget your 27mm to get the crank pulley off
  14. awesome thread... can we post carbs too? There is a set of IDA's just sitting on my dads racecar
  15. Has the car ever run with that fuel pump? You could try taking the fuel pump off the s130 parts car, it should be external, and easy enough to retrofit.
  16. It looks like its frowning. However, that looks like a lot of work, and I have respect for it!
  17. I have a spare sensor if you need it. Spare cam on the other hand, not so much.
  18. Im glad you decided to work on this rather than sell it! Im still trying to find a coupe on this coast.
  19. I like that it has 4 cup holders for 2 people
  20. Ive got this 260. It has a little more rust than your looking for Im guessing. And it doesnt run. I have a spare fender and hatch. the actual part under the hatch isnt rusted. Its located in Monroe and I dont have a problem towing to everett. Id like $500 without the snowflake wheels. I dont really need to sell it, but its a way back burner project. http://picasaweb.google.com/K.Murray80/260z
  21. Yah, It was for sale when I was a little short on cash, however its not for sale now. There is one on the local CL still in a maxima for $1100 or something.
  22. That would be awesome. It sounds like a few of us are in the midst of doing this setup.
