  1. I have HPTuners software and they are calling it VCM. Which is what the car companies are migrating towards. Vechicle Control Module, since it's not just for engine management anymore.
  2. After going through the same questions that you are going through I decided to get a 2002 camaro gas tank with pump built in. Ebay for $150 delivered.
  3. This pump: GSL392 255 lph will work fine with a corvette fuel filter.
  4. They are "STAGE 8" bolts. I just ordered a set for my JTR headers. The bolts that came with the headers rusted so quickly. Here is the LINK to the Stage 8 header bolts for the LS1
  5. Thanks guys, I ordered the Tilton #75-875U. Mark also is using this one. Speedway has the stainless AN -3 to GM quick connect lines that connect to the tranny
  6. I see 2 different Tilton master clutch cylinders. 75 series 75-875u kit that has a Close tolerance cut-off ports: shortens "dead" stroke of pedal for quicker activation and improved feel, in black, that is out of stock. OR the 74 series 74-874u. Can anyone with experience tell me which one. All's I see when reading is people use the 7/8" Tilton, not which series. I REALLY don't want to blow out my slave in the T56. Thanks! Scott
  7. I sent it back to JCI for a refund. I started looking at the different connections and I don't see anywhere how people got the line to a quick connect on the T56. Where can I get that part? anyone know? I found this, anyone know if this wouldn't work? clutch lines
  8. Thanks for the idea. I uploaded it. http://www.4moores.com/280z/files/index.html
  9. I just bought a new master clutch from Johns Cars along with the driveshaft. When I looked at the master cylinder there were not 2 bolts or a section that would mount to the firewall. I called John and he explained that there is a square that twist locks. I can see that now. I am suppose to make a couple small notches into the firewall so that the square part can slide in where the circle is, then twist to lock it in place. Has anyone done this? I was googling for some kind of square to 2 bolt adapter, but I didn't see anything. Any suggestions?
  10. Mine works perfectly (author). I am switching gauges since I got a chevy tank though.
  11. I am running the JTR radiator and 2002 firebird/camaro fans. Everything fit and works great.
  12. At 30K and it still doesn't drive... But it's has to do with what level you want to go too. Getting there is half the fun too!
  13. I just want to thank EVERYONE who wrote articles on the LS1 swap! I GOT IT STARTED TODAY! Now, I just need a drive train installed... haha. Seriously, if it wasn't for this site and a member of this site whom I called constantly, I would of never gotten the car started. So agian, thanks to everyone and especially TitaniumZ!!!
  14. Rust in your tank. Take the line going into your fuel pump off. There is a plastic "screening" cone going into the pump. Take it out, clean it or toss. Go get a fram G3 filter. Put it inline between your tank and fuel pump. The real solution is to send your tank some place like this: http://www.gas-tank.com/ Basicly as the rust gets sucked up into the pump it clogs that screen and you starve for fuel. The fram filter will keep it trapped. You might have to change it frequently at first until the rust is removed.

  16. Thanks, I searched O'Rielly Autoparts since they are closer and they have them for 15.99! Even more savings.
  17. Well I ended up taking the whole system apart and rebuilding it. I took the airconditioning core out, it weighed a ton. Replaced the hoses and cleaned everything up. Looks like everything will work with the original heater core. I found some replacement parts from ebay and zman of washington.
  18. Coutesy Nissan has them in 10 packs for 10.80 Part # is 08313-51298
  19. I used 2 buckets. One for heat (ceramic) and one for sound. You could just use 1 bucket (2 gallons) for the sound part. I had removed everything down to the metal, so I needed something for the heat against the firewall and floorboards. Remove all of the interior plastic panels and your seats and spay away. It is water based so it cleans up easily.
  20. That looks a lot like the lizard skin stuff I used. Weighs a lot less than dynamat too. lizard skin soound and heat
  21. '76 280Z one place is to hold the front turn signals one to the vechicle frame. Not the different lenght ones that hold the amber lense one. Another is there are 2 of them that hold the rear license plate light bracket on. Thank's alot for helping! Also my parents live in Leonardtown!
  22. Thanks, but I really was wanting the Nissan part # for these, so I can go to Nissan and get them. Anyone?
