  1. great news! Thanks for the update.
  2. I used his method. www.4moores.com/280z Its still not perfect, but A LOT better than before.
  3. Check for rust particles in the little cone filter at the inlet of the fuel pump. You;ll have to take the incoming fuel line off to see it.
  4. my '76 has no o2 sensors, ERG, cat's or any other pollution stuff.

    pop ups

I've only see the "Want to see something scary, must be over 18" but its not a pop up. Just an AD at the bottom of the page.
  6. Hi, In the process of swapping out an LS1 into my '76 280Z ( http://www.4moores.com/ryan ) and I am using the original dash, but I want to swap all of the guages out. I have been looking at the Auto Meter Ultra-lites. From the searches I did, it looks like I will be getting the 5" and the 2 5/8" gauges. I went to e-gauges.com and then got confused on which ones. Can all of them be electric? Can I splice off of the engine wiring harness? The water has different scales. Water has 100-250, 100-260, 60-210 If I want to use my original Z gas tank (with bigger line fittings, which gas gauge resistance? 0-30, 0-90, 16-158, 240-33, 73-10 Thanks!
  7. I got the brass ones from HELP! at autozone. They were cheap and worked great!
  8. I had them on my '76 280Z. I replaced my original oil ones. They aren't the best shock, but WAY better than the originals. They did fine for everyday driving.
  9. I had the Arizona Z Car solid one on mine, but not for too long. I even tried sandwiching in radiator hose rubber to help dampen the noise levels. It finally became unbearable and I removed it.
  10. We start our LS1 conversion tomorrow, THANKS! perfect timing!! www.4moores.com/ryan
  11. I am interested in the Arizona Z set up also. I am having a LS1 put in by Speed Design, Inc and I will need to go to larger tires. So coil overs are needed to beable to fit 245's in to the wheel well. Hopefully someone out there has experience with the Arizona Z product. This is not to be used for only racing, also for every day driving.

  13. Are the JTR headers better than the JCI headers or is just the cost?
  14. We are looking at John's Cars http://www.brokenkitty.com/zcar/zcar.htm Hopefully they are good. I found the link in another thread here.
  15. I think the engine/drive train swap and body restore will be enough $$$ for now.... LOL
  16. I bought this 2002 LS1 and 6 speed yesterday on ebay. Lucked out and the guy is only 90 miles south of me. Putting it in a '76. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1,1&item=280016941489&ih=018&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWA%3AIT Hopefully picking it up this weekend.....
  17. Ditto for me. I ended up taking it off 1 week later. I even tried sliding a piece of radiator hose in between.
