  1. i have a ron davis radiator for the l28et in mine still and have had no problems with over heating, if you want pics let me know i'll get some
  2. So the one with the slump in the main skirt is the one your selling?
  3. here is where i got my rb25, got it for a good price thini it was 1300 shipped with everything except the full harness. All the sensors were on it and that was all i needed. http://www.nagasakijdmmotors.com/catalog/index.php hey my bday is the 27th
  4. yea i had a blast that lil motor takes a hell of a beating and hauled arse in the process. Yep i am interested in it jitter just let me know u had one along with a buddy of yours. Pm me what you want for it if he is getting one from your buddy and i get yours then we are gonna come together i think.
  5. good idea careless, i havent been on in a while so i just saw this post as well as others. As far as the lean #6 cyl i will tell you when i run a compression test on mine. I broken mine this year and i didn't check which piston took the hit. I built my own intake log style and i will check to see which one took a crap on me. I know with the L28et the first cyls to take a crap were numbers 1-2, not sure which one/s died on me this time. It was my fault it broke but i just chalk it up to expirence Also if you want any info on haltechs on the rb's careless i have what i went thru to offer.
  6. sweet for sure this coming weekend prolly about 2 or so and i'll be on the only orange bike matches my car
  7. my rb 25 doesn't get any hotter than 205 even when it is hot and i am idling. while driving it runs at the 180 mark solid and even while draggin it the engine runs at the highest 190. My rb25 runs way cooler than my old l28et if that helps you at all
  8. looking good man, when you plan to have the rb in there? Also could you bring the pistons with you if you come? I broke a piston bad today so it wont be running this coming weekend unless by some freak chance someone has rings and rod bearings in the US and i can get the gasket kit and pistons from you I'll bring my bike tho and rip off some low 9 sec runs
  9. Sounds really good, i know i couldn't wait to boost my rb25 and i was forced to stick to 11psi cuz the stock clutch couldn't hold it. Funny thing is from the vids it doesnt seem fast but sitting in the seat and expirencing it you know your haulin When i did vids of my rb pullin third to fourth the guys thought it was slow but it was pulling hard. Very nice man very nice and i love the sound, think once you can rev her hard you could get a vid of you reving it up with the camera by the exhaust?
  10. LOL i think that was donkeydick no i didn't but i got the bov fixed and i changed one of the clamps going to the tb. I'm figuring about the same time as we did two weeks ago like 2 or 3 and i'm not sure if the fergs are coming yet or not. I'll post on the wmz forum.
  11. deal, i'll get some new rings and bearings for it this winter, i plan to pull it after the snow drops. I am gonna run it at the track agian next weekend go or blow i have a tow strap we will see what the rb25 can do
  12. well i want what every you have just let me know what you want for them. I amplanning an rb30 like jitter so i want to have a good rb25 short block that i can put in my pickup(not sure i have ever seen an rb in a sonoma)
  13. hey triple b what are you doing with your old rods and pistons? I know i broke at least one piston and i wanna have a running block either for spare or i will stick it in my sonoma. Post some more pics man
  14. ferg was thinking the beginning of oct for the next track day, how does that work for you guys? It'll give me time to fix all my problems
  15. LOL and it ended up being a c5 vette prolly an 05 06 model i think man that was funny, if you need help this winter jitter let me know i'll come down for a weekend and help u wrench
  16. he did very well, with more time behind the wheel i think he could get her alot better. I was gettin in the 1.8 and 1.9 60' times with street tires, me at 11psi woulda been a good race for jitter. Unfortunately we didn't get a chance to race together oh well there is always next time, we didn't have to much trouble finding people to come i just shoulda put my camera in their hands so we coulda got more of the quality vids like this one..... oh yea i love the sound of a rb25 going down the 1/4 hey jitter u should tell em about the wrecker guy
  17. i dont know much about the piggy back systems but i love my haltech, working on getting a machine that will run xp and the dos version of the haltech program so i can use the machine to run my media center too. I want to take the radio out of the dash and just use the machine to run mp3's and movies if i want to watch one at some time. I love the haltech cuz as mentioned above it data-logs and has many extra outputs for extra goodies can't wait to see that thing running and going down the track Oh yea my injectors are stockers
  18. yea it woulda been better if the bov woulda stayed in oh well and yea you know i figured that alloys woulda been alot better from what mike said. You know i have no problem with people not running bovs but it's just not my preferance. I'm game anytime you think you wanna go again and when it's good for everyone else.
  19. yea the bov is fine, i pressed the flange in the tb there was an 1" opening already in my tb for an air bypass or something. I just didn't press it in far enough and didn't use any kind of adhesive like i should have. I am going to thread it in now with a new aluminum flange. my dumb
  20. ya, he coulda approached the situation better. I have had that bov for about 5 years now and this is the first time it has given me any problems. They were caused by me not making sure the bov flange was mounted properly. Its ok tho i will make sure it wont happen again My goal for this year is 11's
  21. U post here eh not gonna post there anymore they seem to treat me like the z isn't a real sports car. I'll prolly check it for info but i doubt they can offer info that i can't find here. At least over here we expirement and find other sources for parts.
  22. very nice 1 fast z i am stoked to actually see and hear it run cant wait as well as the others to see it perform
  23. lol very good idea evan, and drifter i told him to stuff it basically, i went there as a recommendation from a buddy with a real GTR and they have been total jerks. I posted about the starter i found that works on the rb's and linked them to here for jitters work with the slave cylinders thinking they could use it and got no repsonses posted about running the z and he dogs on me for taping the bov back in to get home. here is the link it's a copy of this topic so you dont have to read the first post http://forums2.freshalloy.com/showthread.php?p=1487991#post1487991
  24. lol i wasnt gonna say anything had a guy on the fresh alloys forum say that bov's are bad and they ruin turbos and make it worse for drag racing.
  25. no they are just cut off, the weird thing is they have held fine until now. I have put a ton of miles on it and the bov pops out now and the ic tubes pop out now. All the clamps were loose so i am guessing with all the heat and cold they loosened up a bit. I too am impressed with it doing a 12.6 with less than half the boost pressure for the last half of the track. Yasin could you see the vid? i just want to make sure it works for everyone.
