Thanks sleeper and ron for the help he sent it out yesterday(was suppose to)and i'll see soon enuf i better get my butt going and get working on the car i have so many things to do to it.Anyone know the site that has the adapters for the cv shafts?I think it was ross's site but i'm not sure.

well i guess if it isn't what i want then i'll sell it i guess.I just want to be done with looking and buying a turbo for the beast i'm stupid when it comes to turbos and everytime i ask someone they say go to this site or go to that site and it's all greek to me.Then after i ask the guy he gives me some crazy price that is way too much or isn't what i want. I'm getting so frustrated and poorer by the day can't afford to keep buying turbos or other things.But thanks for the help guys what do you think my hp will be with my set up and this new turbo?I planned to swap exhaust housings so it'll fit my manifold so i might even change the turbine in the exhaust side too i dunno yet i'll see when i get it.I just need help not a it's your choice thing cuz i don't know.Please help please

thanks jeff i can't wait to get them.I plan to run stock boost at first (break in)and then give her like 15 to 18 to start with and see what she will do.i guess it'll handle like 20 or higher.But i doubt i'll get that high i'll prolly kill the bottom end.

umm i don't know much about turbos but it says 70 on the compressor side.How much of a spacer will i need?

i saw it on ebay and just decided go for it and i bought it on the buy it now option it's a t3/t4e hybrid I can't wait for it to get here and get put on the beast.The body kit should be coming soon too man my car will be hooked up this year.Timz when do you plan to have your z going so i can get the stuff from you to get mine going?You still have to give me a price on the flywheel.

just about everyone is looking for turbo stuff.I have one on my car but that's where it's staying :)I heard of a place in muskegan that has like three turbo cars and i know of a place in holly that has one too.I don't know of anything right now that i need i have a 76 280z so the zx parts are kinda useless to me but i have two friends with n/a zx's 280's.I have a t3 but it needs a rebuild bad i had to replace it cuz it was leaking oil bad and i didn't know where to get a rebuild kit for it.The only reason i have it is just in case i need it for a core for my new hybrid turbo or else i'd just about give it away too.I have a 81 zxt but i used the motor in my car but if you want anything like gauges or anything(boost) you can have them.It is good to see another MI z guy i only know a few on the net but i met alot at the nissan z meet last year very nice cars everywhere.

depends on the parts i have a few parts cars and i know a guy in Grand rapids that has a few just list what you need.

i could only find one free rearend it is off of my friend's old cougar like in the early 80's when they still looked like boxes might even be in the 70's.But anyway i have it in.we went out and got it with a tractor and a sawzall we got to the car and opened the trunk and a big ass racoon hopped out of the trunk and ran into the woods.She was big too and had babies in the trunk also only a few weeks old eyes not even opened yet.So we got our parts and left them alone so she couod come back and care for them once they get older they are fair game.The rear with some modifying works great i'll have pics up tomorrow after work of the old rear and the new one.I really broke the old one the whole front was totally broken off when i pulled the rear out the front part just fell on the floor.I have the rims i got from Scottie on there for now cuz the ones i have are 6 lug and the ones on it have bad tires on the rims but it does look fast now.

81zxt #5 pin, no power while cranking!!

ok aaron it should have power while cranking and while in the on position to make the car run so maybe check to see if one of the wires isn't getting power while cranking.So just test to see if #9 has power while cranking.I think it controls the ignition but i;m not totally sure.I'll call tomorrow to see what's up -

i haven't checked the manual yet but it should say if it's suppose to be constant or on starting only.Hopefully you'll get to run your turbo z soon so you don't get sick of it. -
thanks guys i'm not really concerned about bolt pattern besides it's easier to find rims in five bolt pattern than in six well for me.But i have limited resorces here and i want to get off as cheap as possible but i don't want another rear to puke so i'm kinda stuck.I'm gonna try a ranger rear unles i can find another mazda rear or nissan something still six lug i just don't have any five bolt wheels right now so that would be an obsticle too.

well the truck's vibration was the rear end it had metal chunks in it and must have broke more off cuz on the way to work today it locked up while i was driving.Good thing it was when i was slowing down only squealed the tires a little bit.I backed up then went forward again and made it to work.But i'm having troubles trying to find a good rear for it with minor mods to make it fit.Anyone got any ideas?It's a 86 mazda B2000 pick up i guess the L28 is just too much for it

thanks mike i was gonna use a ranger rear but i'm not sure if it'll hold i just think mine was junk before, the turbo and L28 ended up killing it the rest of the way.The ranger rear is the same size i measured but i wonder if it'll bolt up the same in the drive shaft and leaf springs?

thanks for the concern len but i plan to use a jack and jack stands i also don't plan to lay under the car while it's running i'm just going to look from the side and see how bad it's wobbling then stop it shot it off and then do the work.I may be crazy but not stupid I don't even really trust it running up on jack stands but its either that or go for a ride while hanging under the truck and i'm definately not going to do that.

i have the rims i just need tires and adapters for my truck so the traction will be almost covered but like i was telling len last night the drive shaft must not be right cuz i still get vibration not as bad but it's still there.So i have to jack it up tonight and look while it is spinning to see how bad then try to fix it.Sould be interesting i wouldn't want really anyone around cuz alot of bad words would be flyin Over all i'm happy with the results so far and i plan to have a burn out vid or pics up soon for all to see.

Thanks BBZ that afm worked great and it has some balls now i went around the corner for a ride and man it was spinning all the way around the corner with about 4-500 lbs of weight in the back wooohooo she has power next comes the drive shaft shortening and the small little crap next.Can't wait till it's all done i'm debating on if i should change the muffler or not woman says it's too loud

the wiring is easy it's only like three wires to the car then you have to hook up two relays i think, it's been a bit but there is nothing to it. You could run just about any trans you want just make sure the clutch can handle the power.I have a nissan tranny on mine and it is just fine.

DAW i know i got the wires right for the temp sensor and i know the sensor is good i checked all that.I've tried everything to get it to work and no good i'll just have to wait for the ecu to come in and try that.I got it to my house today drove it about a mile and it hauls a$$ but i found why it's doggy in the upper gears the dang front brake on the driver's side is draggin for some reason so i have to fix that too.But it does go pretty good i'm impressed but i know it won't keep me happy for long in comes the turbo

GRRRR i'm about to run this thing into a tree!!! only if i could get it to run right i prolly would the way it runs now i'd get right to it and it would stall But i tried to fix the afm and it didn't work and i tried changing the plugs switching them and it didn't help i am going to get another afm and try that if it doesn't work i know something else is bad.Does the thermotime switch have any thing to do with how the engine runs?Does the ecu look at it for adjusting mixture?It's the only thing that isn't good besides the afm.HELP HELP i'm gonna go nuts
