Look into a AAA membership and go for it! Drove my Z from CT to WI when I bought it. It's a real bonding experience and helps you find all the quirks and imperfections.
Is this a spectator only event? Never been to any races there, though I've driven past. I've been looking to get together with some other Z guys around here as I think I've got the only one in my town! I know there is a couple guys in Waukesha and Brookfield on here. Some more info on the races would be appreciated.

Found this on urban dictionary, couldn't resist.
A jeep thing
1. Propaganda put forth by the Jeep company to give their cars appeal. With that smarmy ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ smily face on the back.
2. Jeep things include:
(1) poor gas mileage
(2) easy rolling (for that fun, hospital feeling)
(3) general inferiority to Toyota products.
Guy: My new jeep crapped out on me the other day...
Guy 2: What? You've never even driven that thing hard! Must be a jeep thing...
Guy: Yeah. I just don't understand.
I posted this in a different thread but it seems better suited here. The beat up one I've rolled about 5 times and it just won't die!! The other one has 5.71 gears, welded diffs, and 40" Ground Hawgs. I also have a '95 4Runner that the wife prefers to wheel in.
Hey dude, I have a 95 4runner, these things really rock! Did you try pulling the dist. cap off, you may have gotten some water in there. Oh I see this was 4 days ago, did you figure it out?
My two toys, The one I've rolled 5 or so times, it just won't die! The other has 40" ground hawgs, 5.71 gears, welded diffs, and a header.Good clean fun!
The rest of the fleet;
96 accord ex
95 4runner
94 chevy van

The covers from black dragon are only 49.95 they look similar to the msa ones. Does anyone know if they're the same? I would be in for a group buy ,but my buy it now finger is already shaking!
My father in-law R.j. Flanagan just retired from CORR. Met my wife/his daughter at a race in Crandon,Wi. He won the world championship in a 32 chevy pickup. The year after, he wrecked it bad and they passed a new rule that trucks had to be less than ten years old body style. I guess they didn't like seeing the factory backed rides gettin' smoked by privateers in a "beater".
