    Mine is rigged up the same way. It's kind of cool 'cuz you can run with no tail lights. Works good for runnin' moonshine through Chickasaw county....YEEHAW!!

    I am not saying this is legal, safe, or smart But... how many people have you had in a 2-seater Z? I can remember many a time in high school riding 4 or 5 on a regular basis. Anybody else?

    That's a tough decision! That Porsche looks awesome, love the styling. My bro just sold his 84 944 cuz the maintenance costs were killing him. The 300 would probably be less wrenching, and faster I think?

    I used a product called Hammerite, it comes in a spray or brush on. It's pretty durable and it looks like a hammered/ suit of armor finish when dry. I've used both and the brush on looked better and lasted longer.

    I bought some parts from a guy on e-bay his username is smokin-geez he has a datsun junkyard in canada. Anything I've ever needed he's had it. You should be able to find him under the datsun listings, he usually has a ton of parts for sale. Hope this helps you.

    Datsuns don't need jacking points they are the most reliable car ever built and don't require any maintenance! I usually use suspension mounting points, the metal seems to be a little thicker there.

    That was done intentionally to create a "slimming effect". Are those the optional camper towing mirrors?

    The e-bay knock offs w/k&n seem pretty similar but cheaper. I like mine but have heard contrasting opinions on here. You'll get worse mileage 'cuz you'll be stomping on it to hear it snort! Man if i lived 20 min. from MSA I'd be poor!

    Keep in mind the header swap is a pain in the neck, you have to remove the intake. NOT FUN. You'll also need a new gasket that's meant for use with a header and it wouldn't hurt to get a new set of bolts/studs $20.00 from MSA.I put one on mine, not much louder ,small seat of the pants difference. Good luck!
