  1. Sunnyvale looks attractive. It's higher on the pay scale and the crime rate is probably lower than most cities in the bay area.
  2. Congrats I just signed all the paperwork for my first home on Thursday the 12th. The home is still being built so I don't close until June. 2 car garage for me .Home buying can definately be stressfull but it all pays off when you find your place.
  3. I have 235s on my '71 and it likes to track grooves. I have worn bushings too but I did replace my steering coupler. It doesn't bother me but if my wife drove the car I'm sure she would hate it.
  4. I'm buying my first home and I'll finally have my own garage to work on my Z
  5. So I'm at a light on my way to lunch. When the light turns green I hear this sweet sounding exhaust note. I'm looking around the cars in front of me expecting to see a bike pulling away from everyone because it sounded too good to be a "normal car". Thats when I see the 360 Modena. I got excited and was able to pull up next to it at the next light. There was traffic in front of us so I was hoping I could run with him at the next light when the traffic cleared up. Anyways, when the light turned green and he cuts across two lanes of traffic and gets on the freeway. Would have been funy if he pulled a move like that Viper . O well....Maybe I'll run into a Murcielago next week.
  6. No need to import the GTR from Canada, it's also coming to the US in 2007 as an Infinity model priced between the next M45 and Q45.
  7. That sucks. The radio isn't too bad but the kendo equipment I'm sure is pretty expensive. That deserves a trip to Abraxas or Damkring BTW how did you do in the kendo tournament?

    Super bowl!

I'm gonaa play some poker before the game, drink up, then watch the panthers kick the pats a$$.
  9. I had no intention of trying to beat this guy. I was just trying to gage myself against a car I always dreamed of owning. From the looks of it I probably would have to run 15psi just to keep up and add a shot of N2O to beat him . Guess I should have picked on the M3 behind me
  10. Key word is tried . On my way back from lunch today I see a new 911 turbo cutting in and out of traffic driving the car hard. I finally get in back of him at a light. I had my boost down to 8psi because of the rain so I didn't really want to race him. I just wanted to see if I could keep up. Light turns green and he takes of normal then guns it. I'm in back of him trying to play catch up but it wasn't going to happen. I gave up by third gear cause there was no way I was going to catch this guy. That car was crazy fast. Must be nice having AWD and 420 ft-lbs of torque at 2700 rpm
  11. I second fl327. I got your back Len. If you change your mind I'll lead the charge.
  12. Nice color. Reminds me of the Bentley Speed 8. With your wheels I think clear covers would look good.
  13. The wire loom is sweet. I wanted to make something similar but having the wires going through some kind of aluminum conduit instead of exposed.
  14. MKIII intercoolers are not the most efficient out there but if you're looking for a mild setup they work fine. They were made for an inline six with about 230 hp from the factory and there are plenty of supras pushing 300hp with the stock IC. I haven't tested the pressure drop myself but I've heard anywhere from 2 to 5 psi.
  15. If you are looking for a cheap IC setup with no cutting required and are not too concerned with any pressure drop use a mkIII supra ic and the stock supra hoses. It will probably be easier to install and more efficient than what you are proposing. Cheap too
  16. Not cheap but here's a source for SSR wheels http://www.upgrademotoring.com/wheels/SSR/SSR_Index.htm Here is your wheel guide http://www.club4ag.com/faq%20and%20tech_pages/Wheel%20Guide.htm
  17. I think I have a simple 2D linkage program. I'll see if I can dig it up tonight.
  18. I tried a pathfinder slave which is also 11/16" but after it still wouldn't disengage the clutch and blowing out the slave piston I pulled the tranny. Clutch fork was completely split at the pivot. I ended up using the stock slave for now because with the pathfinder slave I would have to use a spacer. I thought a bigger MC later on would be a better solution but if the 200sx slave bolts right up that would be an easier fix. I want to reduce my pedal height but I'm worried about how much stiffer it will get. You already know how my pedal feels.
  19. Scarface Godfather I and II Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels Trainspotting just a few of my favorites
  20. Just be glad this isn't your garage
  21. Thats in metric units. Funny how horsepower decreases as rpms increase.
  22. Here is the bottom of the R34 for reference I don't think an efficient rear diffuser can be made without some CFD analysis or wind tunnel testing.
