I havn't heard anything about that, but i'll check into it. All the fluids were already drained so no oil got into the top of the engine if that's what you're thinking. And im pretty sure the P-90 has solid lifters, not hydraulic if that was the idea? Anyway I'm planing on tearing the whole thing down anyway, and i think Challenger is as well.

well got the opportunity to go to the local pick and pull yesterday and pulled out a L28et for myself, and turns out there was another one sitting there. So today 'Challenger' aka Derek and I went out there and got him his turbo motor! Good day all around... I had a blast, and although we had a couple little snags, ended up getting it in Derek's hands alright. And now we both have turbo motors! wooot! Plus I managed to find a complete P90 head sitting in the back of a subaru that was around the same area. I also doubled as event photographer... Before: Derek 'Challenger' Ready to pull. Whoopsie... We decided to do things a little 'unorthodox' Victory!

Yeah, actually he said he's going to shoot for one per week (to come out around the weekend) up till episode 12. After that he will see if the motivation is still there. I'm so stoked to finally watch these again. (I don't really like watching the raws without knowing what the story is really doing).

ya know, im not really sure. lol It was a fairly cold night by the lake..might have been a bit of fog. Actually, now that i think of it, my radiator hose was having a little leak around that time (fixed now ofcourse) probably was that. And thanks for the comments everyone! For those in High School now, I really wish you guys good luck with your projects! It really is an awesome experience to have during that time. Involve your friends as much as possible too...then they'll really appreciate what you have when it's done!

I haven't been to Alaska but I really would like to at some point. Good choice! I love Victoria. Its a great little city, although much of it is tailored to the tourists. The roads that go around the island can give some really great views too (although im sure you'll be having plenty of those). If you guys end up having some time in the NW I'm sure myself or some of the other local Z guys would be happy to show ya around. So much to offer around here.

a friend of mine who ran it in his FD said the engine didn't run as smooth as before unless it was at its perfect temperature. little too hot or cold and it wasn't happy. Some people live by the stuff, others have said it makes their car smoke. Take what you hear with a grain of salt i guess.

this isn't what i had in mind. lol Well I was late for a thing at my church last night, so was driving out there, got off the freeway, had a red light. Turned green, and I gave it just a quick launch. (not really revved up, just tried to dump the clutch as soon as it turned green). Well... I didn't move, and it gave a horrible noise. I tried again, and it did the same thing, so I pushed it back to the gas station on the corner and thankfully my buddy lives just a block away. Got it towed to his garage, and after some quick diagnosis just cause we thought maybe it was the clutch...we're pretty sure the tranny just ate it. Heh. whoopsie. Atleast it didn't grenade, but it doesnt move, and cruches, clunks, and kinda lurches violently when letting out the clutch. well atleast I still have my 4-speed...just too bad it's 400 miles away. Doh'!
