  1. Well you know, they say Einstein never tied his own shoes... (or something like that lol)
  2. Well I like this one of course LOL. i'll try to find some others.
  3. Are you sure they used the JATO's back then? It would be awesome if they did, but I couldn't see anything extra on the plane where they normally would be located.
  4. I'd like to see a police persuit of that thing. LOL imagine trying to describe it.
  5. Well some of you might have known about this before, but I just learned all this. http://www.theaviationzone.com/factsheets/c130_forrestal.asp Really blows my mind what some of those planes & pilots could accomplish.
  6. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/worldnews/article-1075830/Bring-sweetie-Man-kills-bear-stick-hes-got-scars-prove-it.html
  7. Oh thats right! On our way from Shinjuku out to Narita, I saw a few pretty big Auto-wreckers next to the highway. If you're looking for parts and have time, it might be worth checking out. But whatever u do like said, enjoy yourself!
  8. oh i forgot. If you're there on a Friday night, head over to the Daikoku Futo parking area down by the Bay Bridge. Not sure exactly what time they all show up, but its one of the spots all the big time street racers come to. I guess some S30's have shown up from time to time too.
  9. Akiabara is awesome! Be sure to spend more time than i did there (just a few hours). The place i never did get to go to when i was in Tokyo was Roppongi. Sounds like its a really interesting place. I stayed in the Shinjuku-ku disterict. Shibuya i remember was a pretty cool spot too. I think the Yokohama area was my favorite of all. Be sure to see the tallest building in Japan. (I think the top floor is like the 68 or 69th floor) but It is TOTALLY worth the view! Also there is a super-autobacs in Yokohama about 2 blocks away from that building. I took some pictures here. Not much, but i was only there for a day and a half. lol. Link 1 Link 2
  10. lol that is pretty good... I think the painted brake drums is a nice touch too. here is a jem i was lucky enough to catch at a red light. Another reason I always carry my camera with me haha. Not sure if i've posted this here before.
  11. And for those who havn't seen this yet. That one isn't doctored. LOL
  12. Went back and watched that second vid a second time....whoops. LOL yea i was totally wrong on that one. Still hillarious either way.
  13. I really like the armrest and the center console proposals. A splitter/full bellypan would be AWESOME! Fiberglass body panels would be pretty crazy too.
  14. first one was pretty cool. And I'm pretty sure the second one isn't sped up. The road lines are smaller and closer together which might make it look that way. And that was a pretty quick hatch...but the ferarri should have been able to keep up with him. Just didn't seem like he had any kind of feel for driving a road like that. Was way off line every corner, and traffic seemed to surprise him a lot. lol. just my take on it.
  15. i thought it said he maced him... but either way you have a good point.
  16. Holy crap. Reminds me of the movie 'inside man' As much as I despise people who try do pull off those sorts of things, I can't help but root for him a little bit. I do give him credit for not using anything that could potentially harm anyone during his heist. Pretty clever.
  17. Just think of it this way. You seem to be knowlegable to at least the point of realizing that many of the members on this board would have the information you're looking for. So just take that bit of wisdom a step further, and look to see if any of that information has been shared already. Simple as that. It just so happens that the information you're looking for has an entire section on this forum. If you don't think the information has been shared already, or cant find it, then by all means ask away!
  18. Mods feel free to move this to the appropriate sub-section as I wasn't sure what exactly it would go under. Anyway I tend to go on a lot of drives with friends, clubs, etc and often we use 2-way handheld radios to communicate. My problem is that my car is so loud that I often end up using an earpiece so I can hear transmissions easier. This works fine If it's just me, but if there is a passenger, sometimes its nice for them to be in on the loop as well. The other thing, is trying to find a PTT system that would work better than bringing up the radio to my mouth each time. I've found some headsets like the EB200 earpiece and the secret agent spy headset. But not sure how to incorperate a PTT. Im thinking of taking one of my older radios apart and wiring it in under the dash, with a PTT button going up towards either my steering wheel or my shift knob. Anyway Just wondering if any of you have done something like this, or thought about it?
  19. Ugh...So i went down to the local parking lot meet tonight. Not many people there, but i got out and said 'hi' and such. Got to talking with this one guy, who said he used to have a '93 Z32 TT, and a Datsun Roadster. Goes on talking like he knows his stuff, until he says this phrase. "well atleast your car is a TRUE Fairlady." "Urm....actually the only fairlady's were the ones sold by Nissan in Japan." (actually not 100% sure if fairlady was a japan only name, or if it got to other parts of asia as well...) "well no, see any Z that was sold by Datsun automatically was a 'real' fairlady. All the Z's that were sold in Japan were just datsuns." Something to that effect. I tried to block out most of what he was saying cause i knew what was coming. He also questioned why i had a "Nissan-Pacific" sticker on my car....I told him it was a Nissan. He looked really confused. LOL I just smiled, and nodded, and said "oh...cool." Was like midnight, and was way to tired to argue with someone who obviously didn't care to be corrected. Anyway thats my story. lol
  20. Only seen an 8-track player like twice...how sad. CD's. Nike or Adidas?
  21. is that Gnose blended into the fenders? Might be tough to even seperate it in the first place...
  22. I've always been fascinated by the whole space program. I remember my parents taking us on a vacation to Orlando when i was like 10, and got to tour the Kennedy center for a couple days. So awesome! Too bad we missed a shuttle launch by like a week. It's one of the top things i want to see still.
  23. You could do the color i used. 350z blue. 'Blue pearl mica' or something like that. I'll have her all shined up for the Oct. 5th meet in Bellingham.
  24. Was going to be transfering to the University of North Dakota out in Grand Forks this fall, but couldn't get my flying finished in time. So i'll be heading out there in Jan for winter semester, and in the mean time just hanging out!
  25. I had respect for that thing up until i saw the FRAM filter Still a sick car, and such a sleeper.
