  1. I'm using the camaro radiator (4 cylinder I think), aluminum with plastic tanks. I believe it's the same one suggested by JTR. Coming back from MSA, it must have been at least 100*F outside and I had no problems! Tim
  2. Terry, Maybe something a bit less busy, like the Mercedes ones:
  3. Actually Dan, I was scanning the CA Vehicle Code regarding the marker lights, and it appears that our cars do not need them. The requirement for side mounted lights are for vehicles of 80inches or wider in width....our cars (even your 'wide @ss' one) will not break that measurement. I can provide the citation if you are not convinced..... Tim
  4. Gotta say, I agree...looks bitchin w/out the grill insert.....again Terry, you remind us of our unworthiness!!!
  5. Call the dealer and talk to them first. I really hate the litigious nature in this Country. Find out which bodyshop did the work and find out what the warranty on such a repair is. If it was fixed via an insurance claim, talk to the insurance company, and find out what can be done. I would imagine such a repair should last the life of the car.... Tim

  7. with all access. and wiring/comp for $3200....I can post details if anyone is interested...
  8. Super duper shrinking disk: http://allshops.org/cgi-bin/community/communityalbums.cgi?action=openalbum&albumid=9980121727059
  9. Rags, A few shops were posted recently...have a quick search....I think it was in this section. I have heard good things about this place: http://www.witchhunter.com/injectorserv1.htm
  10. That has crossed my mind, actually!!
  11. From I've read, it was to aleviate vapor lock and general underhood high temp problems....
  12. When I am sitting idling, I can see the heat vapor rising out of my vents, so I know that they are working well. I am planning on taping some ribbon on the vents and driving to see what's happening at speed.....
  13. Yeah, Ol' Heavy is being pretty emphatic!
  14. You'll have to feed me and provide copious amount of beer....trust me, it will be cheaper for you to take it to a shop!!
  15. Jon, I think that the theme in your statement is "seem to have put so much time and effort in", which I believe that the commonality is that these type of people are those who enjoy the building and associated challenges......I know that my car doesn't hold a candle to Terry's, but the mindset is the same.......need a constant challenge.....
  16. Don't know.....Steve said it will either air in early June, or late September. Looking at the programming description, I am assuming it will be:Classical Gas (107)

  18. Mike, I have another car (2 others) a 94 Z28 (LT1 T56), and my 71 Cheyenne 20. It's not a matter of something to drive, it's a matter of having a new ugly duckling to turn into a swan......
  19. Don't get me wrong, I love the Z......I took my time and did it 'right'......5 years +....but then you guys have followed its progress to a certain degree, so you know that......it's just a bit unfair for my family....my kid especially....he has watched me work on this this thing since he was born, and can't even ride with me in it.....(child seat doesn't fit), and my wife finds it a bit too 'racey' and uncomfortable.....it's not the sort of thing we can all just cruise in..... Well, that probably gives you enough of a clue as to which direction I'm going.....but hell, maybe I just have a bug up my butt, and maybe it will pass, but I 'need' something to keep me busy....I love building stuff....... Thus, if it doesn't sell, no biggie.....but 5 years of my life has gone into that car......and she needs a home where she will be driven.....she drives sooo nicely..... And don't forget...She's a TV star (see upcoming episode of "Life in the fast lane - with Steve Natt")
  20. Thinking of selling the 'goose. Love the car, everything about it is now absolutely perfect!! But, I want something new to build, which means i will need the garage, and I don't think it's fair to the Z to have her sleep outside. Don't want to send it straight to ebay if someone here is interested..... I'm in absolutely no hurry to let her go, and will not be letting her go cheap, but she's show quality all the way!!!! Email if interested....(seriously interested)......I'm not going to post a price....kinda along the lines of "if you have to ask, you can't afford" This is not a project car, nothing needs to be fixed, or 'short cuts' redone. The car will be at the ZCCA National Convention in Torrance CA in June (without a for sale sign on it).....tacky! Tim
