  1. I do have a few (about 5 extra). Owen, they are already made, so the size is set. The unforntunate part is that the price is drastically higher than the original quote (see the post in the vendor forum). The decals cost me $18 each, plus CA sales tax of 8.5%. I think a decal would cost about 90c to mail, so it will end up ~$20 per transfer. I have already lost a lot of money on this deal because of the issues with the previous vendor screwing me, so...... The remaining 5 stickers will go on a first come, first serve basis.Paypal instructions are on the apparrel post in the Vendor forum. Please read the instructions before sending payment. Thanks and sorry for the delays, price mix-ups etc. I doubt that I will ever do this again, it is just way too much stress!!!
  2. Here it is. Came out really nice. I placed it on the 1/4 window of my Z. Warning....take your time peeling back the cover after applying the transfer. The design has a lot of very small pieces that want to stay on the cover.
  3. Are the L engines offset to the left in the RHD cars like they are offset to the right in the LHD cars?
  4. Just to add to the fray. The manufacturer's tag on my new compressor (7hp max, 3.5hp run) states 240volt, 16amp. Now it doesn't say what the starting draw is (I doubt that it is as low as 16amp, but that high draw is momentary). Anyways, I am running 10 gauge wire to the compressor (about 60feet from the panel). Tim
  5. I welded mine with my MIG. I didn't even have the gas shielding at the time, just used flux core, so that made it a little more difficult. All you have to do is be patient. Do about 1/2 inch at a time at opposing ends of the roofline to avoid too much warping... TIm
  6. I used some posterboard to make the template, then transfered it to sheetmetal. I used a piece of 4 inch pipe to 'roll' the sheetmetal to the correct shape. Mine differs from yours in that I replaced the whole tail section. panel before welding on Panel tacked in place Final product
  7. You're a braver man than I!!! That ZX is ROUGH!! Good luck....see you in a few years
  8. Have you checked for vacuum leaks, esp around the throttle shafts? Do the spray trick around the shafts while its running and see if the idle changes.
  9. I just picked up a 7hp (max: 3.5 hp run) 60 gallon verticle, 135psi max Kobalt compressor from Lowes. 13cfm at 90psi. Should be a nice upgrade from my little 20 gallon 5hp (max) unit. I am totally tired from unloading it from my truck by myself!! Easy enough with the forklift at the store....at home was a completely different story!!
  10. Nice to hear stories of good service!! Now you get to have a little taste before it goes for paint!!

So where are the pics of the new items
  12. I used the S&S headers as a base for my tri-Ys. They came out nicely. It would be a shame to chop up new ones, but I got mine used, so I wasn't worried about it. The clearance of the stock unit is terrible! Driver side: After coating: Tim

Aren't you supposed to be in Irvine?
  14. Both from MSA Fiberglass bumber and 280Z airdam (no holes for turn sigs)
  15. In all my years on this site, I cannot remember anyone ever referring to the ZXT engine as an "L28DET", so I figure everyone is on top of this. Are you referencing a specific post, or is this just a general statement?
  16. All the RX7s I've seen in the yards have 200+k miles on them. No telling if, and how many times the engines have been rebuilt, but of the 15-20 that I saw, 90% of them were in the 250k miles range....that has to say something.....
  17. The winters aren't too bad...but the humidity in the Summer!!! Damn!!! I went to Shippensburg University in South Central PA, and spent some time in the Philly area before and after that.....summers are brutal!
