  1. Joe, its mostly to do with using the internet. I'd like to be able to download stuff while surfing, and listening to music etc. It just seems like its slower than it use to be, and I like to save every nice pic I run across online, and videos too. Thanks every one who offered a suggestion. I'm trying to comprehend it..
  2. Thanks so far with the responses. I have no idea where or how to check my "ram slots" or how many are open. Can you please explain? Here is whats in my tray: Google talk AGV anti virus Antivirus Guard system volume control Please explain how to check what you suggest to try, I'm computer lay...
  3. No offense intended using the word computer geek I just wanted to grab the attention of you computer gurus. I need basic info in simple (me) terms on what I can do myself, at home, to upgrade my PC's performance. I'm fairly handy with the computer, but I'd call myself a computer dummy, so I need this explained in layman's terms. What can I buy online to install into my existing PC to make it faster (open pages faster, download faster etc.)? This is what I have now: OS Name Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition Version 5.1.2600 Service Pack 2 Build 2600 OS Manufacturer Microsoft Corporation System Name JOEL-D0F670B45A System Manufacturer Compaq Presario 061 System Model ER978AA-ABA SR1803WM NA620 System Type X86-based PC Processor x86 Family 15 Model 4 Stepping 9 GenuineIntel ~3201 Mhz BIOS Version/Date Phoenix Technologies, LTD 3.06, 12/19/2005 SMBIOS Version 2.4 Windows Directory C:WINDOWS System Directory C:WINDOWSsystem32 Boot Device DeviceHarddiskVolume1 Locale United States Hardware Abstraction Layer Version = "5.1.2600.2180 (xpsp_sp2_rtm.040803-2158)" User Name JOEL-D0F670B45ACompaq_Owner Time Zone Central Daylight Time Total Physical Memory 512.00 MB Available Physical Memory 77.41 MB Total Virtual Memory 2.00 GB Available Virtual Memory 1.96 GB Page File Space 1.03 GB Page File C:pagefile.sys What I'm hoping for, is something I can purchase and install myself to make this PC faster and more memory.... What do you think??
  4. Sorry to hear this guy... hope you get it back whole. I guess the best out come could be it was taken just for a joy ride, then left some where... May the POS who stole it, have a slow horrible death!
  5. WOW!!!! That is one amazing piece of work there....
  6. Its all ways a good practice to spin any motor over w/o the spark plugs, by hand, before trying to start it up.
  7. Welcome aboard! The RB fits nicely, and your cars looking good...
  8. This one is exactly what I was refering to.... You want lots of short tubes like that one.
  9. My thoughts are, its worth the asking price, but I fail to see the inlet/ outlet being on the same side.. Also, the long runner lengths is not what makes for a good I/C, its the short/ lots of thats works better. Ever see the Corkey Bell I/C for the S30 Z car? Thats the most efficient I/C core. I would use the core in that auction. Just have to make sure to get the pipes right...
  10. I've used the Borla X-1 race muffler (3") and the MagnaFlow. I preferred the Borla Nice job running the bends Bobby C. I noticed your floor pan replacement shot there in that pic, would you have any more pics of the pan fix you could share with me? I have a new pair waiting on me to make a move with. Your work appears to be quite nicely done. If you could PM me some, I'd really appreciate it....
  11. Nice..... now, whats your plans for the mods... I wish my first Z was like that one!! Oh, don't forget to dive into the HybrirdZ archives. Every repair/ mod you can need has been covered in one way or another.... Good luck, and welcome....
  12. I hear ya... I wouldn't either. I just happen to have a few sets left over from swap outs to ARP's.
  13. I use the main cap bolts off the crank. They are 2 3/4 long (may not work for you due to engine stand design) and the pitch is 1.50 metric. I used a 10mm 1.50 tap to match up the bolt size to.... sorry for the poor quality pics. click em
  14. I want the Techno Toy Z32tt set up. One reason is I already have a complete Z32tt rear sub frame drop, but I also need to come up with a 4 lug wheel flange. I just barley bought my CCW's, and they are in the 4 lug variety... I will have to take a good look at the 5 lug wheel flange on the Z32tt, to see if some how they could be re drilled to a 4 lug pattern. Any input on this idea?? thanks - joel
  15. LOL.... you forgot to add the most important last word to to heavy..... heavy duty!! I'm hoping to hear back from Gabriel. I sure would like to show off a Z32tt package for him.....
  16. I also have one, yet to be installed. I've read on their site that the fittings/ valves, on both ends, can be remotely mounted....
  17. Awesome stuff!! I'm ready when you are. Please PM me with the details to complete the purchase. Thanks - joel
  18. PLEASE don't sell me one either..... j/k.........it will look nice when done.
  19. I'd say between $500 - $600. I had one for sale last month and it didn't sell (only went to $455.00) http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ih=004&sspagename=STRK%3AMEUS%3AIT&viewitem=&item=140132155319&rd=1 Its gone now though. I did sell it off ebay....
