  1. Matt sure does nice work..... its to bad he left this site for good. He was a awesome RB asset to HybridZ.org....
  2. Cool.... see there, there is always a silver lining....
  3. I would like one too, + keep us informed on the fab progress please...
  4. I spend hours watching ol' Guss.... He's e guitar man!
  5. Bummer.... at least you had a little fun with it huh ?...lol What is the oil pan/ pick up set up like on it? Did you have a oil pressure gauge working at the time? I'd be sure to do the oil drain mod, at the back of the head, along with the oil restrictor in the block, while your freshing up the motor. Its real easy... I did it myself, and all it took was a fitting and hose. Also, you may have had the common problem with the R32 oil pump drive rear its ugly head on you. Once you pull it apart, take a look at the oil pump drive flats on the crank snout, and oil pump drive gear flats.... it may very well be cracked.... Anyway, sorry to hear of your motors demise, but now you can make it track worthy.... take lots of pics for us, huh?
  6. Just download Mozilla FireFox and dump that POS browser IE, and you can then add the add-on the free extension called AdBlock Plus, then you will never have to worry about Banner Adds, Pop Ups etc. again... I don't see any Banner adds, on any forums! I will never go back to Internet Explorer again, on any computer. FireFox is where its at!!
  7. Stony, do you know if the 4 bolt companion flange, off the 300z will slide onto the regular 280 stub axle?
  8. Interesting idea RedNeckZ... I'd really like to see some good detailed pics of your work done to the fender area's.
  9. Awesome looking little dude there.... CONGRADS!!
  10. Nice job on the Manifold mod.!! Thats prolly what it would take to be able to use that Manifold in a S30 Z car... Your car is coming along awesome like... Great job!!
  11. Here are a couple pics of the Z31 Turbo 5 spd box. One has the speed sensor what looks to be deleted, and the other isn't shown. I think some guys here have swapped out the elec one for a mech one for their rb swaps. Maybe one will chime in.... I know Quoc (240z Master) knows his stuff, so hopefully he will step up.
  12. I surely did mean to imply you were implying that.... I was just confirming that those POS's are spread out every where even in their home state....
  13. I have a 89 300z Turbo 5 spd (as a spare) that is a exact spittin image of the rb25det trans, but it has the mech speedo drive on it. If you have the electrical sender you want to trade me for my mech speed sensor, let me know.....
  14. Sorry for your prob guys, but it not just you thats having to suffer from this. Even us Louisiana folks have this prob. Its the N.O. bunch thats causing everybody the problems. And its not the good folks from N.O. thats causing this, its the bottom feeders that were doing the same thing before they were displaced...
  15. It sure has a " I mean buisness" sound to it.....
  16. That looks great Guy... do you have pics of it going together, ya know, kinda in pieces? Do you have the sellers ebay ID for the LED's? Here is my BMW Bi-X retro>
  17. Awesome to say the least!! My eyes are wide open on this thread!! I new I'd have a eventual use for my complete Z32TT rear drop I have tucked away.... I'd have all the donor parts needed for the monster swap, yea! Keep us updated.... pleeese!
  18. Well Chris, I'm sure you know what you should do.... There is two ways to do it. The right way, and the way that wasn't the right way to do it... As much as you want to button it up now, I'd start to get used to the fact that you can't be in a hurry owning a RB motor. Everything takes longer than normal to get. Please do yourself a big favor and get the correct numbered shells, and you'll sleep better at night knowing its 100% correctly put together.... Sorry for the rant.... just hate to see you regret not doing it the right way.
