Hey Austin, that sounds like a real bummer. Have you received any help from any body who has the Haltech in their Z? Do you have the instructions? Is it wired correctly? Maybe some one close to you can help out... Where are you located, as I don't see it under your screen name? There are many smart guys here, that can figure this out with you, if your patient, and explain your problems well. Good luck. I'm sure some one will step up with some help....

I think the leading edge marks are some of that white paint seen on one of the impeller blades. Looks like it got smeared onto the edges to me.... The turbo looks fine I think.

Read his other auctions he's completed. Thats just the way he speaks..... no worries I believe.

Which part of the harness exactly are you looking for? I see you said chassis, so just to be clear... I have a brand new oem engine harness for the 75-76, thats why I'm asking, just to be sure.

I'm certainly not babying my car. I was referring to the fact that My motors power will tear up my 5spd, and other odds and ends, just to be able to say I ran this, or that... I don't think so!! Until I decide to ruin my Z's drive ability (my opinion), by putting a auto in it, I will not be pounding thru the gears on a 1/4 mi strip. I kinda giggle to when I hear of those who have gone thru, how many 5 spds now, while dragging their car?? This is my daily driver. It gets treated like it too... No insults meant here.....

Jon, from your experience, would it be best to; pull vacuum from the block vent pipe, with a filter on the valve cover vent pipe? or pull vacuum from vent pipe on valve cover, and put filter on block vent pipe? For helping ring seal, does it work better, one way over the other ??

Thats what I would have done if we didn't require rear sumps. I think the oem pan is VERY stout, and also supports the bottom end.

Looks like a good starter to me. Appears to be mostly surface rust, and the rear hatch tray even looks solid. I think after a major clean up job, inside and out, you'll be able to better see what you have there. I think you did very well for $300...
