I just wasn't sure of the edge on those peices, hence the quaility question. It appears to me they have a semi flat edge where you would use the rivets. Is that so...?

Well, I guess I'll order a set. Zhadman, what do you think about someone making those into just a rivet, or other kind of fastener install? I mean, how do you think they would/could look installed like a ZG flare, ie; no bonding or blending, just attach and run with that?

WOW !! I love the look of those bolt on flares your using. If you get a chance, could you get a shot showing the whole flare. Like I said, I like em.. You sound like you arn't sure of the make, or where they come from. I'd like to find out cause i may just copy cat you if I don't like my ZG's once I get them back from paint... That looks very nice. I'm undertaking the same right now. I done something stoopid years ago and sprayed mine with that rubberized undercoat. I've since pulled my new, never started motor back out so that I can do what you did. I can't see installing a nice new motor in your Z with a butt ugly engine bay.... I bought one of these sand blasters> http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/ctaf/displayitem.taf?Itemnumber=38375 to try and get all that undercoating off. I tried it a little the other day, and it appears to work good enough to blast it clean. Then I can make mine look as good as yours... j.

The hard part to refilling your R12 is getting the gas. Since you have it, or access to it, its not that big of a deal to refill a system. Long as the system hasn't been "opened up" and left that way for all kinds of moisture and trash to get in the syst., you should be able to refill it yourself....
