  1. Looking good brother.... most of us have been at that stage with our Z's. It takes time and $$. Your early 260 looks to be pretty solid except a couple spots, which shouldn't be to hard to fix. Make sure to replace those doors with some with NO rot at the bottoms. If you try and fix yours, you'll end up kicking yourself in the rectum for not picking up a good rust free pair. The rust will come back in the bottom of those doors... trust me, I know from experince... Just get a pair from AZ. or Calif. and undercoat the inside real good after drilling bigger weep holes and cleaning out the drain holes that are already there.
  2. Stony, what are you doing as far as wiring goes? are you keeping most of the under hood harness (for lights, starter etc), or are you ripping it all out and going with just the basics??
  3. Sweetness Tim.... can you pass on the conection for the muffler? I'm going to need to come up with a nice stainless jobber pretty soon. That should take care of the header issue. Very nice work on that too....
  4. Here is my retro fit of the e46 bi xeon HID headlight set up into my 260z.... I bought a pair of spun alum headlight covers and bored a hole in the center, this way I can use the oem headlight adjustment do-dads. It fits nice and snug into the bucket this way, and is adjustable like if it had the regular 7" holagen bulb in it. Whata ya think??
  5. Absolutely blinding!!!! and the color... well, my favorite....
  6. Those look GREAT!! Where did you buy them from, and what was the cost on the wheels?
  7. If I'm seeing what I think I'm seeing, thats a very nice IC. I believe its based on the Speerco. That size is bigger than the one I ran on my last L6 motor, which was the one sold for the supra I believe. So in my opinion, thats one you don't want to pass up for a good price..... You might want to have one of the end caps reversed where they will both be on the same side, to keep the plumbing down.
  8. Well that sucks... I have a extra 80mm TB if you need it. I can't help you on the plenum though...
  9. Hey JT, just bring what you took me for a ride in this past Sunday (your RBz)..... you'll tuck quite a few tails....
  10. Sad that idiots do that huh? I call that the "dumba$$ syndrome"
  11. Its sad but that same POS is still on ebay right now trying to stiff who ever will be dumb enough to send him a cashiers check, or money order. DON'T PAY FOR ANYTHING YOU BUY OFF EBAY WITH A MONEY ORDER, CASHIERS CHECK OR WESTERN UNION ie; ANY WIRE TRANFER !!!!!!!!!!!
  12. So are we saying the production of this part is now OFF ? If so.... bummer.....
  13. Are those by any chance old Merc Couger tail lights on that orange Z ?? I know of at least 3 early Z cars in Kuwait...
  14. I run 235/45/17 on my Z right now with 40mm + OS and two piece adaptor/ spacers and coilovers. I had to trim the front valance at the bottoms because the tires rubbed while turning. The rear, I had to file the underside lip a tad at the upper arch, due to scraping during big dips in road...
  15. Awesome motor pics.... thanks for sharing!!
  16. Did you mean to write " Help wanted fast"? As far as getting help, you going to need to post what your looking for to begin with, then we need to know what you want to use the diff in... Please give us something to go on and you will get the help you need.....
  17. I been saying that for years. The same thing happened to me when I bought one of those Duel Slippin clutches..... a total waste of money...
  18. Last email I got from him stated he was working on getting some made up. Mine was damaged in shipping, so I'm waiting to hear from him that he has one for me to swap out...
