  3. Sorry bout that..... you know, that happens alot. I guess I stay logged in when I leave cause I go right to the pics.... Didn't mean to do that to ya... There's bound to be pics out to see where you don't have to log in, the GT-R was just released yesterday I belive. I like it myself, although I'll never have that kind of spare green to lay down on one....
  4. That link is old news.... here is the real thing. http://forums.gtrforums.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=243 http://forums.gtrforums.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=251 http://forums.gtrforums.com/showthread.php?t=289
  5. The Z32 drive shaft is a two peice, so its to short to start with...
  6. I'm sure if you put the right rear end with the six speed it would be ok... I haven't tried it, but I saw the 350z gear ratios online somewhere and they looked to be a very close ratio, but that would work with a turbo car if you used a, say, 3:54 or 3:7. It all depends of course on which motor your going to use with it also.... I'll put it this way, if it would bolt up to my RB26 with no drama, I'd give it a shot in a second....
  7. Sorry Mike, all I have is one left that I'm saving... for what I dunno....
  8. Welcome!! If you would just start at the top of the RB section, and read downward, you'd find the answers ti those Q's fast... It's all here... http://forums.hybridz.org/forumdisplay.php?f=85
  9. Man I love the sound of those ITB's kickin in... I now wish I'd have kept mine instead of going single TB....
  10. All I can say for sure is I put a 240 bumper on my early 260, just by removing one of the threaded studs that are welded inside the bumper. I belive that was the only difference while comparing them side by side, was the location of the studs...
  11. Alright!!! So you have a pic of this runt? Can/will you email me a copy please? thanks joel
  12. I really don't have anything fresh on the guy. I was surfing Zcar.com and seen that he has surfaced again, praying on the Z car newB's. That got me fired up again. Its been awhile since he stiffed me for a trans, and I had all but forgot about his sorry a$$ until reading the post on Zcar.com of him still ripping off his own kind... I ran adds on zcar.com for months and months warning parts buyers to beware of Jim Edwards, and I belive it worked while I kept the adds updated, but I finally let them expire and he apparently saw that as his chance to "go back to work". His name has gone cold, and alot of Z newB's have come around since I stoped warning people, so he now will be able to sting a few again before he gets hot again.
  13. HaHa... where on earth did you come up with that cute little turd of a turbo pic?? I'm not making fun of you in any way, just the pic.... its so dam cute!!
  14. Your external W/G will come with a certin spring rate for a certin range of desired boost range (you can buy different spring rates), then the EBC will use that spring rate to adjust your boost settings to what you set it at. Most EBC's will adjust the boost aprox 5 to 8 lbs below and above what the spring rate is in the external W/G....
  15. Heres mine before the JetHot coating.... duel 3" into single 4" CLICK ME
  16. Thanks but thats all old stuff I dug up too the last time I tried to find this guy. He's good at hidding, thats why I asked for help from someone who knows his where abouts recently. Thanks again. The Z car folks are like kin... someone who knows him will step up I'm sure sooner or later.
  17. I'm not sure about the RB25 motor, but on the RB26, the center cover can be removed (if you detach the ignitor). If the RB25 is the same, I say just remove it for a day and see if the less heat result will solve the issues... If the problem is indeed in that area, I think it would be the coil/coils gone bad just like they can on any other car after age and to many heat cycles. My guess to your symtoms are that you have some corroded (that green powder kind) built up on some vital connectors (TPS etc.) Anyway, not much help I know but hope you solve it soon... j.
  18. I looking for anyone who might know this guy. He lives in North Carolina and hangs in the Z crowd. I'm willing to pay for a positive location on this fine fellow... Please PM me with any info. thanks j.
  19. The 2+2 (all years) have the 240mm flywhell/clutch set up. Unless its been changed out during its life time...
  20. Thought this to be on the extreme spending end of the scale. May be a repost, sorry if so, but its hard to belive that amount was spent... http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Datsun-240Z-Tail-Lights-Left-and-Right-NR_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ33716QQitemZ8005292829QQrdZ1
