  1. It's hard to say if yours is oem. Yes, I think it's a good idea to have it there. It doesn't completely seal up the wiper motor, just kinda protects it. Yours, if orig. is most likely in just as good a shape as the rest of ours. They are a heavy plastic/rubber design, so its most likely fine as is. I have never seen them new anywhere.
  2. Way Way different. I had both heads at one time and compared them. No way in hell.... I did have my own torque plate made for my RB build though, after comparing the bore spacing (this was before it was common knowledge here) and discovering a L6 plate would work. Thing was, no one around my area even had a L6 plate for me to use for my RB hone, so I just had one made. This way I'll always have one....
  3. Yep you did... now show us that bad boy!
  4. Did you try and remove the spindle pin as it sits?? If so, it will never budge. Did you notice that wedge pin located in the middle of the spindle pin, that must be removed. It looks like you removed the nut and washer off of it, now just smack it on the threaded end and it will loosen it enough to pull out. BTW, it's one piece that's threaded on each end aprox 1" or so...
  5. That's good to know. I was unaware a RB 30 flywheel and 240z had the same bolt pattern/count. Thanks
  6. Did you know the 260/280/280zx 2+2 have a 240mm flywheel
  7. I pulled mine out after a month due to finding a pair of red/blk leather seats. They are for sale for $200 if your interested. I fit fine in them at 6' 215lbs. My friend rode in them and He is 6' 260lbs...
  8. ^^ I agree. You will spend a ton on all the little stuff that's not there.
  9. That's pretty much the only place I'd buy from myself. They have a excellent reputation for clean, complete engine sets, and the service is A+. They may not show everything they have on ebay, so I'd call or email them. http://stores.ebay.com/JHOT-Imports-Used-JDM-Auto-Parts-TX?_rdc=1
  10. I like the idea. I hope you can come up with a workable solution...
  11. I have one also if dhp123166 offer falls thru.
  12. ^^^ That's funny. You drop in another guy's thread, yesterday, then say your tired of the thread and your going to have it shut down?
  13. Man, other than that wee bit of surface scale in the batt area, that is one great looking example of being rust free... The floor pans look excellent!
  14. Looking good Pat. I like the way the pans are evolving. You appear to now have a great product to fill the demand for s30 rb pans... I'd buy one from you if I didn't already have one!
  15. I don't see where any valve was hitting... If you are referring to all that damage and specs of missing piston along the edge, that's detonation damage if you ask me...
  16. Can I see one of those perfect shells, with detailed clear, close up pics of the usual rust areas?
  17. Digging up a old post. To me, this would help alot with the oil containment. My pan had to large of area around the P/U.
  18. None of those are my pics. I'm using a pan made by R.I.I.P.S. http://forums.hybridz.org/showthread.php?t=149096
  19. Nissan used a different process on the r33 plenum, that's why his still looks good. I guess that's why the r34 came w/o a black coating...
