Those came on later model ZX's, if I remember correctly. I've used them before on my trans. They have two tiny springs inside, to dampin the feel (I guess that was the reason) which allows the handle to slightly move up and down. I know the 83 5 spd I had, came with taller ears for the shifter pin to fit thru, and it's possible the pin height may have been slightly raised to allow for this shifter handle, since it is oblonged, and taller (in my opinion). I hope I didn't add to the confusion with my post, but this is how I remember my experience dealing with that shifter handle...

The last time I tried using that method to pay for my tension rod purchase from a member here, they blocked it from going thru, as long as I tried using AMEX or my Paypal CC to fund the payment. Soon as I switched the payment method over to using my checking account/ debit card, it was allowed to process.... ?? The problem here is, your customers are prolly putting what they are paying for in type, which prolly draws a red flag...

Same here. I'm watching this also to determine if I should even bother going thru the swap out from twin GT 25/40's, to a single GT35r with a T4 turbine housing. I'll just start a thread when I'm ready to make up my mind, and hopefully Tony and the other brite minds will help me out with the decision...

You need to look for a R200 long nose with 4:11 r&p. They are out there, just have to keep a eye open for one. Or, place a WTB add for one.

Cool project. I like the early 260 myself. I'm using twins now but I'm planning on swapping over to a GT35r with a T4 turbine housing, so that I can use the s-tec divided T4 manifold like what you mention. I didn't know He made a intake also. Can you show some better pics of your manifolds pleeze..

Axles are definitely too short to pull out of the cages like that. My pass side axle did that (custom cobbled 88SS VLSD axle) on me twice under power until I added a 1/2 spacer between the comp flange and the outer 1/2 shaft cup cage. Sorry if this reply is off topic, just thought I'd offer my experience up with too short axles...

Did I miss it, or have you posted your trans and diff/1/2 shaft set up somewhere?
