  1. Looks/sounds great! I like your Acusump set up... I need to get mine installed on the car (laziness )
  2. I'm lost.... Question: Do you have the correct fitting pieces for under/behind your seats, like I've shown in my installed pics?
  3. So are you saying the guy I had make mine right, told you that your's was made off my patterns? Take a look at this picture of the under and in back of seat carpet now in my car. These are the pieces I made a new pattern of and he made to fit like you see in the pic. They orig looked like the photo showing all the pieces laid out on my driveway. Do you have pieces shaped like those on my driveway? These 4 pieces are the ones he had to make over...

  5. lol... that poor R180 ain't going to last but a minute with that torque monster. Have fun with it though!!
  6. Not much here sorry to say. Most are looking for better than orig style to upgrade to. I'm not implying they are not worth anything... just odds are, here, not as much as other forums may bring. Just try posting good clean pics, and your price your willing to take for them, and put obo... might get surprised! GLWS
  7. When I bought my set off a guy on ebay, I had pieces that appeared to go nowhere. I discovered they were "suppose" to fit under/behind the seats. I ended up having to make patterns and send them to him. He made perfect matches, and I ended up with a nice looped pile kit in gun metal gray.. http://photobucket.com/My_New_RBZ_Gray_Carpet_Kit CLICK
  8. Sorry TurboSE, I wasn't implying anything. Just replying more or less as a question about the difference between the N1pump, and the orig. OEM factory assembly line pump. It was meant to mean that there is a difference other than a spring, as said by other member. I'm using a JUN pump. Do I need it...? prolly not. But I got it... I think if you have the wide oil pump drive crank, and you don't stay on the rev limiter, or launch control, you should be fine with a Genuine Nissian oil pump. There are thousands of RB26's still going strong out there in the world, using reg oil pumps, but they are not being abused either. I honestly would feel fine using a reg pump on my set up (R33 crank with wide oil drive) because of the way I treat my motor. I just had to have the JUN at the time, cause I was in the "while I'm at it" frame of mind while building my car...
  9. There is a difference (cosmetic?) other than a spring... Top is stock, bottom is N1
  10. Wasn't I.... I'm just regurgitating rb forum info from quite awhile back.
  11. Just wait and watch now how many times it gets quoted back into this thread....
  12. In most cases, it turns out to be a vacuum leak that causes these issues. Unless you are 100% certain none of the small vacuum hoses are cracked/loose/missing, I'd start there. It may turn out to be that simple to fix....
  13. Can't wait... that ought to be awesome!!
  14. James Thagard fabrecated my 321 manifolds using double slip joints from Burns Stainless. They are how the collectors are held onto the pipe. Very secure, tight seal. I have never had any issues. I believe this is a better way to build a part that expands like turbo manifolds do. Click for larger pics Before getting everything 2000* JetHot coated... The front 3" down pipe has a slip joint at the merge area into the 4" After I used them for awhile. I ended up wrapping them to control under hood temps...
  15. lol... I hate to think what that Mack truck really is on the other trailer... That car is pitiful!!
  16. Not sure if you have seen this thread yet, but it would solve this cable hick-up perfectly... Here is the thread> http://forums.hybridz.org/showthread.php?t=147601
