It plugs into the engine bay harnes via a square connector just below the coil & terminal block, here is the picture from the wiring diagram.

Black is usually ground

I posted this on another forum as well, this is my first time playing around with a piston engine, i normally rebuild rotarys. Anyways, im about to wrap this project up. I've been looking at the FSM and found the answer to most of the things i was looking for, but i'm still stuck on a few little ones. Could someone please identify what, and where the following goes to? And correct me if i was wrong in the identification. Also, i do not have an AC. Can i plug all of the AC lines? #1 is dizzy vacuum advance #2 Looks like charcoal can vac signal line #3 is Charcoal can, i won't have one of these on my car for a while, can it be blocked off? #4 is this AC related? can this be blocked off? #5 Unknown - runs back along the firewall to the other side of the engine bay, i don't know what this is for #6 is brake booster #7 Unknown - think its something for the AC

I can't find anything on this subject, and i cant find a datsun parts manual online to cross check the parts numbers. The 280zx dropping resistor looks similar to the 280z' Are they interchangeable? Car has a 77-78 engine in it.

Just taking a glance the immediate problem i see are the naca ducts, also you could probably get away with some canards up front, IMO because of the nature of this project you should start small and move up, Canards / whale tail and go from there. Hate to say it but it could be a very expensive trial and error type of thing with the wind tunnel

20B-REW and harass everyone with the brap, 10,000 RPM+ redline all day long on a racing engine. and a really nice power/tq curve I miss my rx7 every day, it was the funnest car i've ever drove. You really should consider reading the rule books, though and go from there.

Only thing i need now are radiator hoses, and afm boots if anyone happens to have those.. i forgot i dont have mine anymore

that's where everyone starts, try getting it to look like a roll of coins tipped over, best way i can explain it is to tap down on the pool, move your hand back ever so slightly and tap down again, repeat.

is the door mis-aligned in general? loosen the door hinge bolts and adjust from there, does it look like they were tampered with ?
