  1. I disagree I think that is a smoking hot deal....I love it...I hope the seller gets his price, you are getting alot of stuff in this auction...ALOT! Yasin
  2. Tim...small world...I design and do modelling in the Natural Gas Transmission and distribution world. I have "only" worked on 20" and 550psi. I do alot of yield stress work and fluid dynamics flow calcs. We have a large environmental dep't that I work with very closely and I used to be directly involved in all the pipeline pigging activites. Great to see someone on here in the same field Yasin P.S: Pity about those Zs...
  3. Sounds fishy..why can't people be straight for chris sakes. Yasin
  4. 300+hp at the wheels on pump gas is VERY achievable and still very reliable
  5. Gosh...getting a cast made for this DOHC head would cost an INCREDIBLE amount of $$$...but really that would be the only way to ensure that there was no integrity and strength sacrificed. Eventually you would more than make back your money as potential buyers would feel very comfortable knowing that the heads are cast and not two welded KA heads with questionable internal welding. A very well ported and polished P90 flows some really impressive numbers..I remember seeing a L28 with a P90 pick-up almost 30wheel hp just by switching heads and same cam..very impressive and this was on a NA motor. Naturally your head will still outflow a really well manicured P90...but there is alot of testing that you would need to do to make a potential buyer feel confident about spending the $$ on your DOHC head and the unique intake as well. On ZCAR you said that the ball park would be around the $5G mark...that is more expensive than buying a RB26 motor, tranny, harness and ECU. Actually you could probably get a RB25 Skyline front cut for close to that - not trying to sound negative or disuade you and your excellent work. A fully rebuilt and extrmely very well ported and polished P90 will run about $1100. Hope to hear more from you and updates on your great work. Regards - Yasin
  6. Looks like a very good combo! But wow...that set-up is going to cost you some buxx! Hope the income tax return is good this year. Yasin
  7. OOOOhhhh that Nova is VERY nice!!
  8. That is really an "apples and oranges" comparisson. The GNZ has far more power potential than the L28ET, more displacement really helps here too. It all depends on how much fabrication you want to get into and how deep your pockets are. Remember "Speed is an addiction that can only be cured bt poverty" Yasin
  9. The ZX was designed as a cruiser more than anything so the stock handling is not as aggressive a S30. That's why I went with coilovers all the way round, polyurethane bushings and the big sway bars on my '83 ZXT - not many out there can out handle my car. Its fun.... Yasin
  10. Pacesetter headers...are rubbish! Their company motto should be: "$100 headers = $100 performance" There is a reason you are getting them cheap. Yasin
  11. Would love to see some more pics of the car once you get it home safely. I hope the seller is cool and everything works out smoothly. Yasin
  12. George - You can put a cap or threaded NPT bung on the Downpipe. Hope that helps. Yasin
  13. Wow...thats some big power out of the 3RZ!! It is a big four but still smaller than the 3.0L 4CYL that was in the Porsche 944 Yasin
  14. You've got my attention. Things that I would like addresses: 1) The internal welding of the water jackets as RacnJasn mentioned? 2) Cams - specs and how are they being made, I imagine a custom timing chain will also be required? 3) Head bolts - specs? 4) Who is making the custom head gasket? 5) Valve cover - custom made as well? 6) Intake - custom made? 7) COST??? A professionally ported and polished P90 will bring an extra 30hp to the wheels (approx), so I am intrigued to see the efficiency increase with this DOHC 24V head Yasin
  15. The blue hose from the HKS BOV is going to a nipple on the intake - simple. If all your nipples are used you can put an inline Tee. Removing the EGR is simple on the intake side...but where it connects to the downpipe its a pain in the *** to remove..you might get lucky and it may come off easily but with the heat cycles over 22years it fought me every second. Don't weld-up the stock pop-off valve...just take a pipe wrench to it and it will come off, again be prepared to put some muscle into it to remove it. You can seal up the hole with weld if you want or use a 1" Pipe plug like I did. The car sounds sick with the HKS SSQ, I'll try and get a sound clip. Installing the HKS BOV was easy! Hope that helps. Yasin
  16. Wow...that is one absolutely beautiful 240Z..one of the most outstanding I have seen...incredible...I wonder what kind of $$$ it will fetch. Yasin
  17. OK so what do these guys do for a living...cripes....that makes me ill (OK jealous)...his garage costs probably more than my house...and I have a nice place...WOW! Yasin
  18. Wow that is a big difference in the diameters. Yasin
  19. Cool shop Mike... My dream would be to work 10hours per week in a shop like that...talk about having my cake and eating it too! I have no problems working on European cars...and I LOVE 911s Yasin
  20. Oooops sorry my bad! What I meant to say was "glad those wheels are coming off"....LOL! Yasin
  21. Absolutely awesome! Love it...the wheels I am not sure about though... Yasin
