    You may want to check out Mercedes also. They have a neat looking yellow that they use on their 2 seater Kompressor model.

    I got the syncrometer for my mikunis and really like it. Motorsport had them on sale for $29.95. Check them. I paid a lot more for mine. I also have the same MSD as you with the 72 distributer. Take another look at those pilot jets. They don't make a 54.5. If they happen to be 52.5 you will get that spit thru the carb. They are too lean I found out. Get 57.5 or 60 pilots instead. It will make a big difference.

    I was not talking about welding. I am talking about how the install method affects the overall ride height.

    Where are they breaking? At the bushing end where the dia. is reduced?

    It appears the struts were sectioned below the lower spring. I have not seen the kit instructions but if you remove a section don't you have to compensate by installing the perch that same amount higher? If that perch is on the factory perch weld and then you section below that, it seems to me that would be a problem.

    Try http://www.vscda.org . They post their rules. If you can race there you can race anywhere. I have been to a lot of their events and they draw several Z cars to each one. I quarantee you they do not just cruise.

    After several attempts to log in I finlly tried to reply to a post. When I go to submit , I get invalid session.

    jt1 has it. You have to get the factory prop. valve out of your system or you will have your problems.

    See my post above. The telltale sign I did not mention is if the pedal feels ok then goes to floor when engine is started and vac. is applied to booster. See this caution in the FSM brake section.

    My 240 is a 7/16-20 bolt. I am sure yours is the same. Do you know Jerry DeGrazia? 71 orange 240 in tucsan.

    It sounds like your reaction disc in your booster has fallen out. If so you will see it laying in bottom of cannister. This has happened to me and several others when doing a cylinder or booster change . It is a hard rubber black disc and goes in back behind the booster push rod.

    When installed will the front ride ht. be raised by the amount of the thickness of the spacer? I was thinking yes but then read somewhere that it would not raise height.

    Does anyone still sell the rubber Mikuni carbie insulators? I was told they are NLA. Thanks.
