Agreed, he's going this route, but I suggested he gets his current setup running properly first so he understands everything that is going on. This is his daily driver and the down time would be to long to start such a swap.

Have you taken your AFM boot completely off the car yet and checked it for cracks by carefully stretching it?

What kills me is why in the world someone put that kind of money into a motor and then try and sell when it looks like it's been sitting in pile of dirt. Clean the dang thing up!

Did a caster fall off the Jack? The races and the bearings look just like my 2.5 ton floor jack bearings and races. Oops NM, looks like you checked the jack. Kids weren't messing around in the garage at all? Wife maybe? Definitely doesn't look like from the Z. -

I was hoping someone would chime in on what would make a suitable mix for such a concept. Any chemist out there? Gunpowder would produce way to much emission problems.

Rocket motor aside, my thought was a mechanically driven type motor w/ no ignition of the two chemicals, other than just the reaction of the chemicals themselves. I seriously doubt enough power could be made this way w/ the chemicals and the amount that would need to be carried. It was just a random thought when playing with the kids.

Mine does that too. She's like, I saw a Z in the neighborhood just like yours. She shows me and it's a ZX. I try explaining the differences and she just says it looks just like yours. The thing I can't get over is she calls it a "Roach" car. I can never get an explanation from her on what she means, She just says it reminds her of a roach.
