  1. I picked up this non running CR80 complete for $60.00. I was told it ran good, but who knows. Anything to look for? Good bad? Overall experience with them? Thanks! Looks like this:
  2. I'm always astonished at what prices small parts like BOV and WG bring. The turbo hobby in and of it self is not cheap for real power. I'm still kicking myself for not buying the Miami Car I looked at. Even after reviewing his price list of 19K I was like so. Live and learn. I'm a cheap bastard anyway.

  7. It would help w/ intercooler plumbing, however, the effort to build this far outways anywork associated w/ the plumbing itself. From my understanding, a longer Runner length should help out top end RPMs, but to long will kill the low end.
  8. A thought I had was to do just the oposite, make the turbo header go over the valve cover and keep the intake lower. This way the heat is rising away from the intake. Of course, a custom intake would also be necessary. Not exactly sure if it would work, but was just a thought.
  9. I threw a heavy Rag in between the belts and mine broke free right away. Good to hear you got it off.

  11. I noticed the site was down this morning awhile at least 2 hours. Aside from normal maintenance, can there be way to communicate to members what is going on? Even now, not all of the site appears to be 100%. (Certain Icons are not showing up and speed is down.) I live here and the knowledge and expertise is paramount to me.

  14. Why not run these injectors? http://www.fuelinjector.citymaker.com/catalog/item/4511825/4545870.htm#image_1 You can get them pretty cheap, can use the stock Fuel Rail if you wish or a custom one and injector clips are easy and cheap to find.
  15. I've heard 1cc = 1hp approximately. For my application I can get very reasonably priced 440cc injectors. Past this they start getting much more expensive and more modification is required on my part. However, we should only run injectors at 80% duty cycle, which only puts me at 352cc. Does the tec3 have the ability to run an additional single injector, that i could have kick in when I reach the 80% threshold? Can it run an additional 2 injectors?
  16. I do have an all stock 78 280z that is not running. It does have rust but if your interested I can shoot some pics of all the problem areas or if you're close to Orlando you can come by and take a look at it? $700.00 Obviously, the least rust is the best, but what is tollerable to you? I'm not exactly sure what I'm going to do w/ it anyway....
  17. I'm a HUGE fan of plain old laquer thinner. Again, try in a spot that is not obvious.
  18. I chatted a bit w/him via ebay. Don't think he's a member here, but I could be wrong. He couldn't find someone to tune it. I suggested he get in contact w/ a member here to see if he could tune it. Sucks to go through all that time and money and then not be able to get it to run. This is the second ebay run. I think the first ended around 2k?

  21. I'm not running a return line on my SUs (round top). I've had no problems thus far but I think I'm right under 4 PSI.
  22. Drew was the first guy. I can forward you more pics if you want. The second car I looked at about a year ago. Then recently it popped up again. He's a younger guy in college. Realistically the car is not driveable, but from memory there was not a lot of rust. Originally he was asking 2K, but now down to 1K.

  24. There is a Inifinity G20, I think, that had the SR20 in it at the junkyard this weekend. Are the front wheel drive motors different? I thought I read somewhere they are, for Mounting purposes in the Z. Motor had 199K on it, but a complete motor was $229.
