I managed to get the tank for $25 in a #2 size at the fleamarket. Went to TSS and for $20 I can switch to their brand and get it refilled. I spent $46 total for the exchange and gas, and of course, they had no #2 size tanks in stock. The guy had no clue what he was doing, and he told me to take what ever I wanted. I didn't want to be greedy and get a #4, so I got a #3 instead!

You need to complain to ebay. That is against their policy. Now if your a buyer and bid and win, but change your mind. Your darn right I email for those fees! Been paid just about everytime in that scenario.

I would pass on that one. It looks like one of the cheap chinese model turbos. I also think it is to small for your application.

It's totally normal. I've bought two and fliped them. Third one was just for parts and then scraped. I can't stay off craigslist looking for deals. Going to look at another one tomorrow.

Tony, where does radiator efficency play into this? My current setup is a 3 row w/a 180. With another 73 I had it had a 2 row and I ran a 160. It seemed that w/ the more row radiator the 180 ran better w/ the hotter thermostat. On a side not, I would test your thremostats. This is very easy w/ a microwave and a cup of water. I noticed big variations on a 160 I had. Both in temp. and speed of opening and closing. It read closer to a 180 and opened and closed very slowly to another brand 160 I bought.

I really like the way they used the extra engine space to move the intercooler inside the engine compartment. Makes the gap look smaller.

I'm pretty sure the 83 turbo is an R200 3.54 rear end. Yes you can swap, but why? You swaping motors to a higher HP? The axles and such will fit, but you will need to swap even more parts. Part of the brakes will work, but you will need rear brackets of a 81-83 maxima or order custom ones. Again I ask why? What are your goals?

Those can have a tendency to do that. I'd work on just getting the bolt out. No need for an engine swap unless your really unhappy w/ it.

I seriously doubt you are getting fumes from these vent lines. My guess is your hatch seal or tail light seals or both are bad. Mine are off completely and I get know fumes.

No it is not a sealed system. It is very easy to drain and refill. If nothing else I'd feel better if you added some jackstands. Do it for me! . No, I'm not gay just concerned.

Curious if anyone knows if you get the pulley and trigger wheel does the whole unit need to be rebalanced? Was curious on the rebello units. Their prices were very decent. $378 dampner and $74 for the trigger wheel.

Looks like you parked it and started taking the suspension off. The driveshaft was off in the one pic and then you started taking the trans down. I'm thinking it was gushing fluid because you didn't drain it first!! You seriously need to consider some additional Jack stands. I'd be very uncomfortable under that.

That one is not the one I got. I stole the pic as an example. It looks much worse than that!
