Is there a difference in these tanks? MSA says there is but wanted to get other opinions. This info came from a third party. If it's sitting in the field ask if you can strip parts off it. Sell them on ebay or here and then call a scrapper to come get the rest. If the current owner doesn't want this to happen offer him/her 40% of the take. Then you can go at your own pace and make some money to boot! Think of future Z potential. Off course keep the small parts if you have a small closet. Turbo, Wiring harness, Head, Exhaust manifold, oil pan, distributor, oil pump, oil pump drive spindle, Coil ignitor, Valve cover, fuel pump, CV axles, R200 rear end, ECU and associated wiring plugs, AFM and T5 transmission. Well those are all the parts worth money, you may not get much else but scrap for the rest.

Are the seats safely secured? I have a hard time believing that you will do much more or any tweaking as long as you drive it lightly. The only difference in moving it under its own power vs. towing is the torque from the motor on the chassis. If anything, Id think tying it down for towing would but more stress on the body. Again, just drive it carefully.

I have an N42 and P82 also. Just different years. I think the log on the P82 is a little narrower at the end and has the runners with webbing. Other than that, very little difference from what I've seen. TonyD would probably have some good insight or maybe BRAAP as far as real differences in flow.

I picked these both up today locally for $350. Both new in the box. Not sure if I really need the Greddy, but couldn't go wrong for the price so I grabbed it. You have to take a picture of the 240Z lights in the 280zx.

I would think the easiest way to check for warpage would be a compression check or if it is real bad water may be in the oil. Great story, btw.

I'm okay with all except 4th and 5th. T3 or T4 should be an option. Also 60mm is to big in my opinion and WG get very expensive in this range for a quality one. + $500 is crazy in my mind for a WG.
