  1. Very true I have an SRT-4 and it's a blast to drive. I've heard of people wanting to use the Jeep tranny and drivetrain for a rwd conversion. Never actually heard of anyone doing it though. Yes there are some srt-4's with stock bottom ends that are over 500WHP. It's pretty easy to make power and torque with this motor. I'll be happy with 300whp maybe 400. I'll be doing a "bastard" turbo set up that should allow for 300 easily with fuel and supporting mods.
  2. Good Deal! I got all my stuff from Partsexpress.com. Here's the link to the diode I used. http://www.partsexpress.com/pe/pshowdetl.cfm?&Partnumber=6A-1KV&CFID=35961&CFTOKEN=63128770 It's 6Amp diode part Number: 6A-1KV The place is awesome has loads of things and fast shipping to boot! feel free to send me a PM if you have any questions or need any help.
  3. I made this so it is plug and play of a sort. Everything is soldered and heatshrinked. I'm still missing the connectors for the battery and ground and the solenoid wires (that I have just haven't crimped them on). You connect to your stock bulb plug and it gets signal from there. On that same run I added the diode that goes across the high beam and low beam. Also from there I ran 2 lines for the bi-xenon solenoid. If you want i can make you a harness just let me know the type of connector or the bulb (i.e. H7, H4, etc). and the dimensions of where you want to mount everything. I have everything to make a harness just need to know the bulb connector.
  4. In the wiring harness that I've made for my car I use a diode that connects to the high and low beam. That way when the high beam is hit the low beam still has current and doesn't die. I'll try and post a picture up of one of the harnesses. There we go.
  5. Wow its coming along! So you got the Arizonazcar coilover setup did you get the 6 piston fronts? or 4 piston all around?
  6. Would you mind posting a pic of the back of the housing?
  7. There's lots of SRT4 owners running with a straight dump like you have yours set up. Are you running stage 1? If you are the Stage one PCM doesn't take readings from the o2 sensor on the downpipe it just needs to be plugged in. Check out SRTsyndicate.com I'm JuanDirtyMessican on those forums. Car is definitly going to feel better since there's less back pressure, However, get a 3" downpipe and you'll feel a bigger difference in power. OR you can get a 3" downpipe that mates to the stock exhaust system or a 3" downpipe with a manual or electric cut out. With the electric cut out you can close the cut out crusing to keep the police off your back and then when you go to the "strip" you flip a switch and the cut out opens. Check out SRTsyndicate or even SRTforums.com for some info. Best advice I can give you is use the SEARCH button and just READ... Good luck. Oh and BTW I have an 05 ACR.
  8. NICE! you beat me to it. Well I still need to get my Z. LOL Looks awesome. Were you able to retain stock adjustment? Also how did you run the wiring? External harness only using the stock harness for signal or did you just run it off the stock harness?
  9. dahh if only I wasn't a starving college student. Free Bump!
  10. LOL duh.....So then yea you'll just have to solder in those three wires.
  11. I'm not familiar with the board but just by looking at it i'm assuming u solder in wires for a 12 volt switched source and a wire for 12 volt from the battery I'd run an inline fuse from the battery on that wire. And i'm not to certain on that top wire something with the engine can u get a clearer picture of the top labeling?
  12. Man it looks AWESOME! I can't wait to start mine....Keep up the good work Brotha!
  13. http://supraforums.com/forum/showthread.php?t=379969 Here's a link to one my buddy is selling he was going to put it in his Nova project but the motor wouldn't fit with the suspension and everything.
  14. yea it definitely looks good. Keep us posted!
  15. that looks pretty good. I think i have to see it covered to really see how it's going to look.
  16. Right with Zhadman. I don't know if any of you have read the specs on the autometer Nexus gauges or the Defi gauges, but the Nexus gauges change color and are daisy chained together and they can datalog. Same with the Defi gauges except they can't change color. I really love the Defi gauges but I also love the Nexus gauges, however they're both very pricey being the boost gauge alone is like 200 something. Then in order to run those gauges you need the Control Unit which is around 200 or so. You get what you pay for.
  17. hey Mike welcome to the "club" I'm still a newb to this community but just wanted to share my welcome with you. On a sidenote i checked out ur website and i couldn't seem to navigate it as it kept giving me 404 not found. I dunno if it's still in the works but Just thought i'd let you know.
  18. Front bumper? intercooler(unless it's hidden under the mesh) Although I do see Front air ducts for brake cooling I'm diggin the look. The front end reminds me of some SRT's that are running crosshair-less with just a big front mount filling the gap.
  19. nice deal I guess for $10 out of your pocket.
  20. WOW I got mine a couple years ago and i only paid about $250 and it was the exact same thing as that one you have there.
  21. Or as some call it the "Home Depot Lip"
