    Yeah I knew someone would mention that. Im to cheap for powdercoating but I might look into it. My friend bought one of the home powdercoating kits that I might test out on the manifold.

    After taking apart my turbo intake Im wondering if there are really any gains to be had. Im going to try and open the runners as much as possible, but from looking at the thickness of the metal I wont be able to do to much, hopefully it will be of some benefit.

    Black Dragon sells a blackout tailight kit for the 300zx, it just makes the back all one flat piece of dark plastic lense. I think something like that would be cool. Maybe even just a large piece of fg that fits in the tailight area so you can cut holes for whatever light youd like.

    Im really debating on going to megasquirt. I really dont want to have to mess with a 30 year old wiring harness for my turbo swap... choices...

    Ive had similar things happen, selling something and the person says theyre really interested and asks questions about how I made it, what the secrets are... etc. I tell them because they seem like theyre going to buy it than they say "sorry, found something else". Now they know how to make it and I havent sold anything.

    I assume you could do it but it would be easy... is there a transmission with the "push forward shift down/pull back shift up at full throttle" style transmission? The only time you use the clutch is to get rolling... I love those.

    I wasnt referring to you. I had a person when I was selling my manifold say they pay pal me and I kept sending them pm's for a week or two and theyd never respond. You were a good buyer. Ive had it happen on other things.

    I also find alot of buyers are blowing smoke. "Ill have the money soon, ill paypal you tonight!" and then "oh, sorry I dont want it..." Its really annoying.

    Ummm.. almost any normal ring compressor will go "down" to that size. Go to shucks.

    I have I believe an 82 turbo intake maybe a 81, but it has the webbing, egr and the larger plenum. When I cut it open to do porting I found it to be quite smooth and looked like it would perform well. http://forums.hybridz.org/showthread.php?t=134422

    Im thinking the cam towers had to line up right to fit the cam and he could only get this with 3 sections?

    Anyone know where to get something like this? The normal textured paint wont stand up to high temps like on the intake manifold. I recently saw some barbq paint which I assume is textured, Ill have to go get some and test it out. Anyone know of anything like this?

    A friend of mine removed the ring from the turbo on hid Cummins Dodge. It was alot louder. I guess theres a difference between a L28et and a 5.9 Cummins...

    Why arent you allowed there anymore.... what did you do?

    I dont know who that was directed to but Im going to be working on the Tb opening on my manifold. I have the 60mm tb and will also be making the opening into the plenum smoother. But the larger tb wont do much good if the runners cant flow any better, so Ill have to work on those too. Like areodynamics, you want a good package. Good comparison is a massive spoiler and a massive cam, by themselves they do nothing, paired with other things they do wonders.
