  1. Couldnt give you much help, still learning myself... But from what Ive read the t3/tO4 is well liked and performs well at the psi you stated. But Im just wondering if it will be any better than the stock t3 at the 10-12 psi range.
  2. Well Ive been doing alot of research for my turbo build and have a few questions. From what Ive read the stock T3 will poop out around 10-12 psi. Im hoping to be running ~10-12psi so Im going to be on the edge of the turbos efficiency. So my question is, should I look into upgrading to the T3/T04 hybrid turbo? Plan as of now- stock ecu, f54, p90a with mechanical lifter swap, IC, manual boost controller, stock injectors, high pressure fuel pump, msa downpipe, 3 inch exhaust, blow off valve, ported intake manifold, edis... Not looking for a monster motor just a good efficient turbo motor. Thanks
  3. My head had been ground with one of the scotch pad wheels and the machinist told us that even those will remove some material and he strongly reccomended us to deck the head.
  4. Well Ive been doing research for my turbo build this summer and am starting to consider experimenting with the stock turbo manifold, or making my own from the stock flange. My question is how much can you modify the stock manifold without loosing power. From what Ive read doesnt matter if the new manifold flows better, with an adequate ecu you wont see an improvement. How much have you all been able to modify your intakes or run completely custom manifolds with the stock ecu. This will be going on a f54 p90 turbo motor stock efi, stock turbo, ~12 psi, intercooled and custom downpipe if that helps. Thanks
  5. I noticed the surface of the head looked like it had been ground on, are you going to have the head decked (if thats the proper term, just make flat)? By the way head looks nice!
  6. Maybe it wasnt 1/8th inch, overestimated. Ill have to go look at some of the scrap to see what it was.. Edit- Just looked at a ruler, dont know what I was thinking...
  7. Cut it out strip off the rubberized coating and weld in a new piece of 1/8 inch sheet metal. And undercoat over it. Its dirty but when it was clean you could hardly tell.
  8. Im guessing it helps burn off any polutants/gas that is going out the exhaust.
  9. Sometimes if you were to have an underpowered car youd have to run at higher rpm's where your using extra fuel = bad mileage.
  10. Im thinking 300hp would get you realllly close to 150. If you think about it its twice the hp of the car.
  11. Ah, had forgotten that website. Some nice products. No matter how many times this is posted I still get a good laugh.
  12. Yeah I tried taking the plastic panels off and it would sit much lower. I went on to take off the wheel on the side that controls the stiffness of the seat and it sat a little lower... But im kind of stuck now. The rails are 16 inches wide compared to the stock 14 inches and there isnt anyway to move them since their build in to the reclining mechanism etc. But Hopefully I can figure something out. Anyone ever cut out the raised braces that go across the floor? I know youd have to replace it with something to keep the strength but It might help the seats fit..
  13. And watch for bubbles and areas that didnt get soaked in resin.
  14. i dae dream bout puttting a turbo moter in my zed frm hour zx? ne1 dones dis! wat bout NOS,,,
  15. Mopar and Datsun... no fowl there.
  16. Pretty much the same as auto body work.
  17. I was wanting the same thing but no one really knew the answer. Tonyd has a jdm 2+2 bolt in cage the supposedly has a removable harness bar. Still waiting for some pictures...
  18. 73 Ford Pinto hatch back.
  19. Hmm. They looked familiar. I got some seats from a newer tiburon locally for cheap but they wont fit. They are alittle too wide at the bottom so they sit too high. Did you have any of these issues.
  20. Looks good. What are the seats out of? They look nice.
