  2. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Datsun-Z-Series-1977-Datsun-280Z-2-2_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ6187QQihZ016QQitemZ260166088017QQrdZ1QQsspagenameZWDVW Nice looking car. The 16 yr old kid was getting a 04 mustang and didnt want the Z.
  3. They all said they could do so much better. Id like them to try it. See what they come up with.
  4. Thats a good looking 2+2 minus the hood scoop. Thats a weird setup.
  5. Its a little longer at the doors, and behind and infront of the rear wheels. Weighs about 200lbs more. Different quarter windows etc.
  6. http://www.mazdausa.com/MusaWeb/displayPage.action?pageParameter=modelsMain&vehicleCode=RX8 Its similar but mabey a little dark.
  7. I meant why do you want rhd. If I wanted a RHD Id import.
  8. Anyone thought of using a spoiler thats attached to older Broncos on the back right above the rear window. You could put it at the top of the hatch and it would help pull the air down to the spoiler.
  9. Hey Globerunner did you do Civil Air Patrol over in Bellingham? I saw that you flew when you were around 16. I was in CAP for a couple years when I was younger and got to fly 3 or 4 times. Wish I could have done more.
  10. I love the color on he first one. Thats exactly how Id like my car to look. Now its getting that color in paint. Mabey I can the picture to a paint shop and have them guess.
  11. Why? Ive seen alot of people wanting this but whats the reason?
  12. Or welded. Anyone have ideas on how to reattach the snaps to the inside of the drip rail trim?
  13. The way I did it was by pushing up and out on the front tip of the drip rail trim. Once the first snap popped off I just tried to find where the next snap was and pushed up from that point. Once you get the front off youll be able to slide the flat part while puling up on it. When I was removing my drip rail trim I asked here but most of the responses were difficult to follow but hopefully youll be able to figure mine out.
  14. Yes but you have to be really careful. I didnt want to break it so I took about an hour to take it off but once you get the first one off the other is easy. The only thing that broke off were the small snaps the hold it onto the drip rail but those can be fixed easily.
  15. http://www.easy-pulse.com/pics/260z/ I love that car! Id also like to know on any suspension/tire size differences. Obviously spring rates because the 2+2 are "so much heavier". Not really, but enough to change the clutch and springs.
  16. Looks great. I love that gray 2+2. Ive been looking more and more and im thinking of selling my fg msa bumpers and getting some off a 260z once my cars on the road. Those look really good. Mike I like the hous.... er car. Car looks good. Ive always liked the 280zx 2+2s.
  17. Anyone see him lay down the streetbike. I cant stand him.
  18. Congrats, How did the car feel at 140mph?
  19. Well youll first have to decide what kind of car youd like. When we first started my car it was just gonna be a car that I could get around in and work on. Now it is completely apart and at a body shop. Also youll have to think about your budget and how much you can do yourself. Alot the stuff on my car I had to learn through mistakes because I had a very low budget mowing lawns. Id start off by searching and looking for cars you like for ideas or look at others projects to see what they have done in there restoration. Didnt see DatsunLovers post, that is a very good point. be prepared to spend alot of time or money to get the car just rust free. In most cases it is easier to save up and buy a car someone else has already put there money into. In general with mechanical or electrical problems you can just bolt on a new part if you want but with rust its not as easy.
  20. Fast and the Furious better get there lawyers ready. I think its funny how the reporter has to quote "drift" I guess because its "teen lingo". Ill take the wheels.
  21. When we were in Nigeria all the gas trucks said "inflammable" and anything with the prefix "in" would mean the opposite. It was funny.
  22. A piece of laminate board like the 2+2'S had in the back and some angle iron doesnt weigh much.
  23. Sounds good. Please post pictures in the 2+2owners thread.
  24. I had asked that question in the aero forum but never got an answer. But I asked Tony D in the 2+2 thread and he said it was just a coincident they used a 2+2. Which is true, better or no aerodynamic differences from the coupe?
