  1. Well what my plans were is to block off the radiator opening, and then do the same thing Bjhines did. With the front blocked off will there be enough pressure in the engine bay to vent out the fenders? Or would it be best to mount vents on the top of the fenders similar to the Dodge Daytonas? The problem Im seeing is the inner fender plastic liners. Would you cut those?
  2. Looks like WishIhadaZ didnt mind. Just a general question, about how far is the piston away from the head at TDC? For example a flattop and a p90.
  3. Just wondering what Referrals are. I saw some people have a referral when you look at their public profile, some dont.
  4. If you read through all the threads that Braap and others have commented on about head and piston choices its very obvious that you would want to match pistons to your head. Works the same way as the aerodynamics, slapping on a whale tail wont do much by itself, its the total package. I think his comment did help. If WISHIHADAZ is spending alot of money on machining and parts, its important that he knows what his machinist is doing and why.
  5. Might just be a fluke. I dont have the type 3 but my msa airdam didnt really fit perfect either. You cant expect with most anything aftermarket a stock like fit. Hopefully a couple people with the type 3 will chime in. How much is it off?
  6. 250 bucks!?!? Why so low? Very Suprised.
  7. Well It looks like having vents in the fenders can prove beneficial in extracting air from the engine bay. Ive been looking at various different OEM vents cars have that may work for this. In particular the 280zx hood vents. Im going to try to get one to see how it looks. Im sure there are other vents available off stock cars, maybe we can make a list of posible options. Any ideas are appreciated. Thanks Also you wold obviously need to make hole for the air to have access to the inner fender. (looking for pictures) This would be used on the left side with the larger end facing the front.
  8. What you dont think that will hold around a G on a skidpad???
  9. What are you waiting for? Get the rotary in it!! Wouldnt that be a great sleeper.
  10. Oh the issue of the starter, if needed mabey you could use a Ld28 starter. I dont know how it would fit.
  11. A cooler fuel is more dense (more fuel), but I think the largest reason to have it cooler is so it wont detonate as soon. It takes longer to rise to the temperature that it will ignite. Therefore you can run more boost/compression. Right?
  12. Yeah I saw that and that is very very cool! I meant in general not this particular Z.
  13. Just wondering whats so cool about JDM? I can see someone importing a japanese part if its better then the US equivelant but whats so great about something being JDM when it is just as good as the same domestic part?
  14. http://www.geocities.com/z_design_studio/ This should help with seeing if you can go that fast with the given ratios.
  15. Did you crash again? Or was this the one a couple months ago? Were did you crash?
  16. Yeah, I saw those but didnt think they had enough flex. I didnt remember the hinge bcause there wasnt one. Thanks Ive got today off so Im gonna try to get the quarterwindows, door glass and door window frames on.
  17. Arent there returnless fuel systems. You could keep all the cool gas if it didnt go back to the tank, right?
  18. Hey TonyD could I get the dimensions/specs on that roll baryou have in your shed. Im looking at options for a rollbar and I remembered you mentioning it.
  19. I was planning on doin something like this but with a oil cooler maybe. Interesting to see what others thoughts are.
