Is it Subtle? Would you only use only the fenders? Are the headllight buckets fiberglass too?

I made my first potato gun when I was 14 and and Id shoot at the school across the street (about 175 yd) and my dad would always tell me to put it away and I wouldnt be able to shoot it for a week or so. Im sure your son will be very happy when hes shooting his bolt action potato gun.

Well I won the auction for a small 150000 V tazer. It was 13 bucks shipped so hopefully itll work good. Once I get it ill put some kind of screw or bolts into the chamber to make the spark. Ill need to wire from the tazers prongs to the 2 bolts. Anybody have an idea on how to make the electricity arc at the bolts rather then where the wires hook up to the prongs?

Are you saying the guy who made the Primmadonna Z's is mentoring you? I'll start experimenting with fg when I get a mentor like that. I already tried to teach myself how to do metal body work and it turned out ok but Im sure me+fg would = terrible. Tony, you have any pics of the Land Speed Record 2+2?

Im gonna stick with the black. Any one have ideas for a rear flare on a 2+2. I dont want the zgs I want something blended in that extends down tothe bottom of the car. I tried to fix the rust on the rear lower fenders behind the wheel and it turned out OK but might not be the easiest to bondo up and it look nice and last. So I thought to get rear flares to cover up the spots and the just seal them up so they wont rust then cover them with the flare. I know the back of the flare should fit but Im not sure about the front. Any ideas?

That sounds like a good idea. Im thinking that youd have a problem if the flip was to far forward on your idea. Ive seen some trucks with something like this at the base of the windshield. I was thinking something like this but you probably know alot more about what would help and what wouldnt.

Just came up with mabey a good idea. If you were to cut the hood around the middle and keep the back in the normal position and the lift up the front like your opening the hood but only like 3 inches. Then weld it all up so at the middle of the hood you have 3 to 4 inch gap that air can escape. Not sure if its a good idea or if it would look good but it might help.?. I have to wait till my cars all finished up and painted to do any kind of test fabing etc. Cant wait till I can.

280zforce what did you do with the bumpers? Anything? Mine were scratched out of the box and Ill have to do some sanding and possibly bondo to make them look good.

I think that would help to grab more of the air and force it over the hood rather then under the car. I had of an idea of getting a cowl and instead of having the opeing right in front of the window where itll suck in air, have it further down the hood so air from the engine bay exits out the back. Mabey both of our ideas would help if used together? By the way thats a crazy looking Z.

There was a recent thread that showed how much the airdam flexes. Id be sure to reinforce the back so it doesnt. Im guessing you could wet sand/scotch pad it and then clear it? Thats if you like the black.

Im guessing you talked to Kim? I love Idaho Z Car, great place. Does this head other then higher compression provide any benefit. From what I read on the "p90 porting realization" when he cut a p90 to show a cross section the ports werent very smooth. Is the cross section similar and like the p90 have some pretty bad port designs? Or is it better?

Im not saying that no one should donate money and Im very thankful for the people that do donate, but some people really dont have the money to donate. As you can see from my signature I have $165. Yeah thats how my first one was. I just didnt like the barbq ignitor cause it wasnt really reliable for me. I actually found a taser for 10 bucks on ebay. The camera flash provided plenty of power the first few times but then wouldnt work any better then a spark off a 9v battery. The first time I tried (sparking the flash unit) it I didnt know how powerful it was and did it in my living room and it made a huge spark and was super loud.

Wow, thats some good machining. Im going for the simpler style gun. My barrels detachable so I wont have to ram the potato down which takes awhile. I can just unscrew the barrel stick it in and screw it back together and Im good to go. I wouldve made a pneumatic gun but I dont have a compressor. If I dont get the taser Ill consider a flint one. Right now it doesnt have any kind of handles or trigger but Ill probably make something once I get the ignition system. Then itll look like a gun rather then a really tall piece of PVC. OTM, I bet that marshmellow gun shoots really far.lol

Yeah I looked at that website. Im hoping to get a taser off ebay but if that fails I was wondering if any of the electricians on HybridZ would know how to make something to make a good spark. My guns pretty simple 5'' chamber down to 2'' by 4' barrel that is detachable. Also has a airvalve in the plug so you can "supercharge" it. There not that unreliable if you get the mixture right. Ive never used airspray, carb cleaner works alot better.

No, the gases have to only be able to expand out the barrel to push the potato. The chamber has to be completely sealed. Im hoping to bid on a taser on ebay thats cheap but you never know if youll get it.

Id recommend not getting the Al. head hot tanked. I guess the hot tank eats away at the Al.
