  1. I ended up making a small "gasket" the same size as the metal trim so it fits up against the paint without actually touching it. I used the gas filler rubber flap to make the "gasket", works well. I dont think Ive ever seen a picture of your car Tony. You need to post some in the 2+2 Forum. Ive seen a couple videos from inside the car but nothing from the outside.
  2. I saw an older MR2 today and it has vents on the back quarters maybe those would look good? Ill look for pictures. Heavy85 Im not gonna put any vent on my car that doesnt have an active purpose. I dispise mustang for that reason.
  3. A brand new off the showroom floor 240z and 280zxt. Then Id breed them.
  4. That is a nice looking bike!! I had to sell my crf250r to finish my car.
  5. I hate seeing stuff like that go (not to me). Those and 350 dollar turbo donors, theyre never where I live.
  6. Yeah I noticed that. The back is facing the front. Works both ways but its whatever looks best. http://www.thezstore.com/page/TZS/PROD/EA33/33-1114 What they look like before.
  7. Go to nampa, Idaho and talk to Kim at Idaho Z car. 2913 Garrity Boulevard, Nampa, ID 83687(208) 466-0004 Best place on earth!!!!
  8. Yeah I thought it was niffty, but I thought to myself, "Im not that smart, why didnt someone come up with this before me?" The only issue is getting the trim not to scratch up the paint but still seal the bulb assembly. Im working with a thin bead of soft caulking sealant on the inside of the lense. Ill post pictures when I finish it, all the sealant we had was hard.
  9. Well I was putting on my rear turn signal and they didnt look real good. Ive seen the Hyundai turn signal swaps but you need the turn signals off a Hyundai. I was just thinking about an easy way to make them look slimmer and it came to me. Instructions 1. Remove the turnsignal assembly. 2. Youll have the lense, chrome trim, and the actual bulb assembly. 3. Remove rubber gasket from bulb assembly. 4. Remove small screw tabs that mount in the turn signal hole. Push these on to the bulb assembly so the holes line up. Take bulb assembly and hold on the inside of the rear fender. 5. From the outside screw on the lense and trim piece. The last step will require some kind of isulation so its not metal on metal. This will be the ONLY peice youll have to find to complete this. Ill try to upload some pictures of it on the car later. Im not sure if this has already been done, but it makes the turn signals look 100 times better, its free and takes like 15 min.
  10. Thanks, now I need to get a bezel. Any ideas on how to repaint those with the stock finish. One of mine was in pretty good condition and it shined up with steel wool but the other ones paint is coming off. What kind of paint or coating was on it?
  11. Could I actually get the dimensions for the chrome bezels? Thats the part I need. Edit- Nevermind theyre the same. I wasnt sure what you were measuring so I measured the bezel and it was the 10 and 9-3/8 you described. Thanks
  12. Just wondering if the 280z tailights are the same on a 2+2 and a coupe. First ones the coupes. Im guessing the tailights are the same but the tailight panels are different? Im needing new chrome bezels for the taillights and dont have a coupe bezel or taillight to compare. Any help is appreciated, maybe measurements for a coupe?
  13. That would be so mean.^ Is that an actual body kit?
  14. Check your clutch linkage. My friend mustang was a pain to get into gear, he worked on the clutch linkage and its like butter now.
  15. Wow a 1000 dollar. I wish I lived in arizona! I have relatives there that I should convince to buy it.
  16. http://forums.hybridz.org/showthread.php?t=77953 Came across this, some idiot said the 2+2 weighed 800+ more then a coupe. What a retard. Im trying to find complete stock info for the performance of a coupe vs. 2+2. I think there was some in the original manual.
  17. BJhines were did you buy your "hole punch"? Does anyone know the amount of space on a 280z behind the inner fenders? Is it enough for a vent?
  18. I dont have mine on yet but the amount of space they take up will determine what kind of vents I put in.
  19. Is anyone using the inner fender guards? The plastic pieces inside the fender?
  20. What do the vents have to do with your heater core. I dont care If you post pictures of welded in vents like Bartmans, but since my car is painted Im gonna be looking for bolt on types, so If you find any pictures of bolt on types please post them. Thanks
  21. What is the current record? I remember seeing a ~7xx hp L28 thread a while back. But that one only had 2 valves. Im gonna look for the thread.
  22. Wow congrats, what is the power for a L28et at 17 psi with only 1 cam? You know the guys that were making fun of your project? Youll have to show them that.
