  1. What Im saying is its not impossible to ship an airdam. Ive done it with no problems, MSA does it all the time, Black Dragon does it all the time, etc, etc.

  3. Same here, hopefully Ill get some work in at some point. Anyways, just finished my first day a Gonzaga University. Im taking Statics, Multi-Var Calc, Mech. Eng. Design, Chem 101, Phil 201 and an eng. lecture class. It will be a fun semester and Im sure next will be even better.... Good luck everyone! Now Im off to study.
  4. Dude canceling airdams because the shipping safely will be to much is a load of manure.
  5. Wasnt the reason people arent using this because the veins arent made to stand up to the heat of gas engines? I had done some reading and I guess the type 997 Porsche 911 had a VGT but the veins were made from "aerospace materials" which solved the heat issue.

  7. Work through it and get it running, garauntee its easier than doing an engine swap.
  8. That is a good point. People will pay money for a good part. Just make something that fits right and you can charge quite a bit more, its just a matter of whether or not the business is on the "get rich quick" train.
  9. Yeah I had a set of those turbine wheels on my car (14 inch). I had them blasted and was going to paint them black but I got my rotas instead. I sold all 5 in good condition ready to paint for like $75.

  12. Alright, sorry I wasnt understanding how it got into the manifold. I thought you meant it was just leaking onto the manifold. My bad. Still as I mentioned, check the fuel injectors. Another thing to check is the return line to the tank. There was a recent post where there was an obstruction in the return line in the tank and it was causeing really high fuel pressure. You can check it with an air compressor as well as visually.

  14. If you mean the turbo T5 from a ZX, from what Ive read their different transmissions from say the T5 in a Mustang. I still dont see why RHD cars are so cool. Lets see, you cant see how close to the center line you are, drive throughs of any sort are out of the question (unless you go backwards)... sweet.
  15. Yeah, I got a quote on the hatch glass like 3-4 years ago and they wanted $500 and wouldnt install it because it was too dangerous...
  16. How was the FPR leaking into the manifold? Check your fuel injectors. If you had a injector stuck open it would do things similar to what you explain.
  17. I was just wondering if n20 and h20 are comparable in this instance, as you say. N20 doesnt take much heat to turn into a gas, while water does.
  18. So are you wanting performance parts, just stock replacement, is something not working correctly? Your post is quite vauge. Vacume and fuel liens are pretty cheap and are usually cracked/hard on most old cars. Makes working on things alot easier.
  19. Yeah, I was just curious about the amount of heat needed for n20 to undergo a phase change compared to a liquid like water or methanol.

  22. Thanks for posting that. I hadnt thought about that affects of having it in front of the turbo. Spraying it after the turbo and you loose the cooling affect on the actual turbo itself. Curious if the N20 will do the same as water/methanol.
