  1. "z31 ecu swap", "z31 ecu 280zxt", "300zx ecu swap", "300zx ecu 280zxt"... even just "300zx ecu" all of them show the link I gave you within the first 5 threads... wasnt being an a$$, I just cant see how you could have really "searched".
  2. Saying you searched and didnt find anything doesnt mean you actually "searched". http://forums.hybridz.org/showthread.php?t=91250&highlight=z31+ecu+swap
  3. Ah yes, you are correct. They are "screws" with round phillips heads.
  4. Wouldnt being on the gas change the angle/position of the diff/driveshaft and possibly cause interference? Is it proportionate to SPEED or RPM. That makes a big difference.
  5. No, use them. Theyre there for a reason and its just a matter of slipping them on.
  6. There should be 4 bolts....
  7. Yeah I really dont see why youd paint them and then try to replace the old bushings.. Do it right.
  8. Why dont you just buy another set of lugnuts? Its like $17 bucks to do it right.
  9. Its so nice to slide in new ones after removing the old ones... its wonderful..
  10. You said still. Was there play before? Are you sure it isnt the suspension slack being that its on jacks?
  11. Are you running the +10 RBR's? If so you just need them for the front. The back should fit fine as is. If so, I can send you my extra two spacers that I got from Armand (thanks again!) just pay shipping.
  12. Thanks for the ratios kevin. Turns out ~5000rpm will be approximately 105 mph which is reasonable. Although thats not "flying" it took about 10 times less time to get up to that speed compared to my rav4.. Yeah Marc that website is listed a few posts up. I dont believe you were going 150 either.
  13. Yeah, Ive always loved that thing!^ Like you said, its just figuring out the ratio. If I remembered the exact rpm at 60mph in top gear I could figure out the ratio but its to late to go for a drive...
  14. So I imagine none of you guys have gone over 80 in your ZXs... so there wouldnt be any reason to have a speedo that goes past that. Anyways, what is a good way to know how fast you were going once you pass 80ish? I went out with a friend (5.0 mustang) and I was suprisingly able to keep up with him. We accelerated up to 80 and kept going. All I saw was that I was at about 5000 rpm in top gear (3rd). This was in my 81 280zx turbo automatic, all stock. So I assume a 3.54 rear end, and it has 195/70/14s. So anyone have an estimate on how fast I was going? Is it ok to assume 3rd on an auto is about a 1.308 ratio like the other manual transmissions? Thanks
  15. I just got a set of lug nuts from Les Schwab with the tapered end. No need for the tuner nuts. Just be sure you have the tapered versus shanked? Im not sure what each is actually called. You just want the lugnuts that taper down smaller on the threaded side, the original ones that partially slip into the wheels wont work for obvious reasons.
  16. Yeah, that is a good idea. I tapped on mine a couple more times even once I knew it was fully seated. Just to make sure.
  17. I have a set of 7mm spacers on the front. I havent gotten the car on the road yet so I dont know if every will work but given the information Ive gotten from numerous people and threads itll hopefully work. Ill try to get a picture of the fronts on. Like I said its still on jacks but it looks awesome. Im at school right now and Im not sure when Im getting home tonight..
  18. They are pretty spendy last time I checked. They have alot more then just food so that adds to the price. Oh what Id do for an MRE right now....
  19. Are you sure your browser still says forums.hybridz.org?
  20. Why are you hiding that sweet intake under all that junk! Get yourself an billet fuel rail and route the wires under the rail. That thing will look even better!
