  1. I went ahead and got 8 from NAPA. Im going to go and see how much I have to take off to install these...
  2. Yeah I was going to PM you but wasnt sure what spacers you were running. Do you remember about how much thread was left with the spacers and wheel on? I tried to measure it out and it seemed to be less then 3/4 of the width of the stud. Its not much.... Ill definitely go to napa and look if they have the quest studs. Also where did you get your spacers? Techno tuning? I am getting a quote from them right now for a set of the 7mms. I checked with Upgrade motoring on their 6mm since they were out of stock.
  3. Yeah, but at some point too realistic isnt fun. Going around the corner and forgetting to shift and having your engine explode which causes you to loose the race isnt my idea of fun.
  4. Dont worry about shipping. Just pm me your address.
  5. Looks like project gotham. I had need for speed high stakes, that was the real stuff!
  6. So I went ahead and measured it out and it seemed like the front studs would be a little short to have the same length threaded as the width of the stud. Did I measure this correctly, or have other people with the same setup or similar, been fine. If needed I was looking at the quest studs. Im sure theyd be long enough. Thanks for the help.
  7. I have 3 you can have free. I know you said you want new but thought Id mention it.
  8. Ok guys, the wheels were dropped off at les schwabs for a set of 225/45/16's thursday, now Im trying to figure out what I need to get these on. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/16-TUNER-LUG-NUTS-SUZUKI-AERIO-SWIFT-VERONA-DATSUN_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQ_trkparmsZ72Q3a1205Q7c66Q3a2Q7c65Q3a12Q7c39Q3a1Q7c240Q3a1318Q7c301Q3a1Q7c293Q3a1Q7c294Q3a50QQ_trksidZp3286Q2ec0Q2em14QQhashZitem120393267160QQitemZ120393267160QQptZMotorsQ5fCarQ5fTruckQ5fPartsQ5fAccessories Will any tuner lug nut with the proper thread pitch and diameter work? Will I need longer studs on the front with the 5-6mm spacer? Does the above link look good? Thanks
  9. Any advice on the brake lines? Im trying to get this bolted up this week. 280z-75 could you get those pictures for me? Thanks Alright, does anyone know if the stock ZX brake lines would work? They would have the correct banjo fitting on one end but would the other end fit onto the stock s30 hard brake lines?
  10. So I assume you have your class 3 permit? What all did you have to do to get it?
  11. I doubt theyd fit, but theyd look cool with the doors open.
  12. What is... paint stripper and pressure washer??? Get the good aircraft paint stripper and just drench it on. Itll even remove a good layer of bondo.
  13. Well close ups wont do much good I dont think. It was all painted... I think I have pics of it in the process, Ill look for them. And consider yourself warned, it wasnt pretty.... Here they are, again its not great, the body shop ended up cleaning it up a little bit before it was painted, but hey It was really my first shot at welding and I was 15.
  14. Their different. I ended up just welding in my own, but it might be easier to modify a coupe piece to weld it. Just enought to get the shape of the front edge. To bad I sold my basically rust free 2+2 parts car last summer, I wanted to cut off the quarters since they were so nice but never got to it...
  15. I really dont know about the mustangs or type r TB, I havent seen them but I dont see why theyd fit being that theyre off a total different brand of car.... but the TB that people use as a "bolt on" is the 240sx 60mm tb. Honestly I just wouldnt bother with it. I know people argue both ways but Ive found the general consesus is that the TB does nothing unless you improve other parts of the intake system (runnners specifically). If it does feel faster with it installed its probably only the fact that "1/2 throttle" is no longer half throttle. Basically you hit full throttle earlier since you dont have to push the pedal as far to get the same cross sectional area open.
  16. Yeah it barely made it into that commercial..... I was waiting for a long section showing it driving around a corner or something. Also Adam is your avatar of the "Im on a boat" song? That stuff is soooooo funny.
  17. This is what Id buy for the 10/22. I just saw a $97 price tag for one of these. Too bad I got rid of my 22 and im left handed... (shells would hit me in the face) Yeah that other kit is interesting but very expensive, Id probably just get the gsg if it came down to one or the other. As you mentioned I bet you could convince some guy that your cough**10/22**cough is actually a military spec m-54/gt7aa Navy Seal's Edition and sell it for 3 grand.
  18. How much power do you want? How fast do you want to go? What is your access to each of these engines? How much money do you have? What kind of automotive experience do you have? What is your time frame? What will the car be used for? What is the current setup suspension/brake wise? ???????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????? Again, need a little more information to help you with making a decision.
  19. That is a fine looking weapon.. http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.asp?Item=125599624 There are quite a few "kits" available for the 10/22 that simulate other guns. Above is a pretty cool one but it costs more than your gsg. They sell a bullpup stock for a little more than $100, pretty economical to get a cool looking 22.
  20. Come on, these will NEVER go anywhere. There isnt enough demand or to be honest, the desire to produce these things. If they did produce these I doubt many people would be willing to fork over the cash. Is someone ready to pay $1000+ for a few interior panels??
  21. Is it the thread where he used a router to cut the holes and then made the carbon fiber piece to fit on the side?
