  3. I have one in my 81 turbo. Also have a 5 speed in my garage ready to go.... come pull it and put in the 5 speed and you can have the auto.
  4. When referring to "the glass" are you talking about the volume enclosed by the glass walls, or in the volume of the glass itself?
  5. When I said compression tester I was referring to your thumb. Measuring the skin disformation you can find the PSI.
  6. Well you couldnt use my design for a car, but engine blocks/transmissions are doable.
  7. What do you mean no one cares? Just make your own. Find a spring or springs that advertise a spring constant. Set up your platform and then measure the displacement. (m)(9.8)=(spring constant)(displacement) Add together the springs if you use more then one. x(k+k+k+k) 4 springs with same "strength". You can make something as simple as this drawing. Maybe make a "runner" (rod inside a tube?) in the middle to prevent the scale from tilting from side to side.
  8. I really think you have something here.. I would definitely consider doing other pieces to blend the front end with the rest of the car. If the whole car had the look of your front end youll have a cool looking car! Keep up the good work! Do you happen to have any pics of the original front end? I though it was pretty cool too.
  9. They seem consistent but low. Thats less than what a stock turbo motor should be at. Whats your calculated compression?
  10. All I have to say is you dont pay even $2000 for a Z that hasnt run in 4 years. It looks clean regarding rust but still, thats alot for a inoperable car.

  13. Is there anyway to return the reply box back to how it was? Not sure if its just me but I really liked just being able to type into the box rather than click on a post and go to another screen where I cant continue to read while I type my response. Anyone else not like this? Thanks

  15. So about what do you charge for these? It is so much work to get these looking nice. I get a fair price for the intakes I shave but Im starting to think I should make more then I am..
  16. Hey, does anyone know if there is a difference between the two? Are they interchangeable? From what I remember from the 2 83 TPS's I had they look similar... Im looking at swapping mine out since its been giving me some problems and would like some assurance before I buy one (an 83). Thanks!

  19. Look up some videos of the gtm. It is suprisingly small. Youd be suprised.

  21. 25k??? Howd you manage that? I think Im right over 10k over 7 years. Paint, suspension, wheels, interior is done, motor is in my daily driver. Just need tires and to swap motors. Maybe another $1500 or so and then I have to be done. Have to pay for college.
